NEW CERTIFICATION TESTING PROCESSCOMPUTER-BASED TESTING
Computer-based testing provides added benefits to those sitting for ASQ
Certification.
ASQ moved to computer-based testing in 2016. Candidates will take ASQ certification exams at a Prometric testing facility where the test will be delivered
via computer in a Prometric proctored, secure environment.
An increase in annual exam administrations from two to six
The availability of days in which to take the exams, increasing from four per year
to 102
The convenience of retesting, reducing time from 6 months to 2
An increased number of testing locations, from 350 to 8,000
And faster test results, from 10 days to 0-4
TEST SCHEDULE
ASQ now offered exams worldwide and translated in,
Korean
Mandarin
Portuguese
Spanish
Testing for CQT, CQI, CRE, CBA, CHA, CMQ/OE, SSBB, MBB, SSYB,
CSQP have six difference windows with several days of
opportunities to test. You are not stuck with just one day and
time.
Testing for CQA, CQE, CQIA, CSQE, CSSGB, CQPA, CCT, CPGP
have seven different windows to take the test.
TESTING REGISTRATION
Testing registration is now ~ one month before the exam window
If you miss a testing schedule, no worries, another will be in about 2
months. No need to wait six months.
The registration as not changed. All is the same.
Once you register, the testing location, window and requirements will be
sent to you.
TESTING FACILITY CHANGES
Changed from paper and pencil to computer based testing
Same amount of time for the test
The testing location will be sent to you after your register for testing
The testing location will be close to your address
You have a window of time to take the exam not tied down to one day
and time.

Site Chairperson/Assistant Chairperson
Responsible for all communications with ACB (Annual
Conference Board) Site Representative, communicating with the
local Section, and providing volunteers to staff all the activities
specified by National. Work with the ACB to provide a positive
environment for the Attendees to the WCQI. Schedule monthly
meetings with Site Committee face to face, or teleconference
for last 6 months to build a Team.
Est. hours: 60 before WCQI, 30 during, 12 after

IMPROVEMENTVOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – SITE COMMITTEE
Scheduling Coordinator/Assistant Scheduling Coordinator
Responsible for working with National and the Technical Program
Committee (TPC) to determine how many Volunteers (each
volunteer to work a minimum of 8 hours to earn free admission to
the Conference-no free meals or tours) are needed to provide
the assistance required.
Est. hours: 50 before WCQI, 24 during, 4 after

Registration Coordinator/Assistant Registration Coordinator
Responsible for all the Site volunteers getting properly registered
through National, confirming registration with volunteers,
answering Volunteer questions, keeping a waiting list of
Volunteers, making last minute changes for Volunteers that do
not show, and notifying National of any Volunteers that do not
show up to work their assignments, but attend the convention for
no charge.

IMPROVEMENTVOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – SITE COMMITTEE
Training Coordinator/Assistant Training Coordinator
Develops on line training, on line testing, on Site training, and
“Tool Kit” to hand out to each Volunteer during the on Site
training. Keep records of training for each Volunteer.

IMPROVEMENTVOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – SITE COMMITTEE
Site Room Coordinator/Assistant Site Room Coordinator
In charge of staffing the Site Room at the Conference during all
the hours specified by National. Is the only one besides the
Chairperson from the Site Committee to contact National with
questions. Keep track of Volunteers as they sign in each day,
reassign Volunteers to cover for no shows, check vests in and out,
answer questions from Volunteers, and keep the Volunteer
organization running smoothly.
