Consortium www.project-impress.eu Technology Demonstration and Validation DEMONSTRATION BUILDING ALICE VOINESCU SCHOOL IN DROBETA-TURNU SEVERIN (ROMANIA) THERMAL IMAGE BEFORE REFURBISHMENT REFURBISHMENT PROCESS AFTER REFURBISHMENT FINAL APPEARANCE CONCLUSIONS As it can be seen in the thermal images taken after refurbishment, the IMPRESS over-cladding solution outperforms the commercial option. Specifically, the deeper embedment of the bearing structure and better insulating properties of HYPUCEM ® minimize thermal bridges. An intensive monitoring campaign is currently being carried out, so as to determine the energy saving achieved. NEW LABORATORY BUILDING AT TECHRETE PLANT IN BALBBRIGAN (IRELAND) IMPRESS-HYPUCEM ® COMMERCIAL SOLUTION ON-GOING The new laboratory pavilion at Techrete plant in Ireland is the real scale testing ground for the lightweight over-cladding panels (shown in the image detail), as well as the Phase Change Material panels for re- cladding.
