Celebrity Cruises announces a new electronic cruise document (eDoc) and luggage tag program designed to offer guests a dynamic, one-of-a-kind pre-cruise documentation experience and simultaneously give Travel Agents an opportunity to promote their own business.

Celebrity documents issued on or after March 3, 2010 will generate eDocs as the default format for guest travel documentation. eDocs will also be the default format for any bookings made before February 5, 2010 that didn’t include a preference selection for hard-copy guest travel documents.

Here are just a few benefits of this new program:

• Travel Agency Recognition - our eDocs are personalized with Travel Agency name & phone number to reinforce to the guest that we are working together to deliver their vacation

• Best in Class - our interactive format will be more engaging & visually appealing than most other industry documents

• Cost Savings - no more need for our Travel Partners to incur shipping expenses to forward printed documents to their clients

• Less Admin time - we’ll do the work for you. Just provide us with your client’s email address at time of booking and we’ll send the eDoc notification link directly to your guest & cc: your agency

• Choices - in cases where eDocs simply won’t do, we will still provide a printed document option

• 24/7 access at the guest’s convenience, once the eDoc is issued

• Each guest on a booking can have their own set of documents at no extra charge

• It’s easy for the guest to email their itinerary to family and friends

• There is no charge to have eDocs reissued

• Guests may print selected pages or the entire document either in it’s original format or a printer-friendly version

• eDocs make it easy for guests to navigate all pre-booking activities via hyperlinks

• eDocs is a more environmentally-friendly option

• eDocs have already become the preferred format for a majority of travelers

New eDocs and Luggage Tag Program Quick Reference GuideStep #1 - CruisingPower.com Secured Homepage Log into CruisingPower and click on “eDocs” link in the global navigation found under the Booking Tools header. Note: eDocs is a sensitive area of CruisingPower.com and requires that the agency’s administrator grant access for each individual travel agent who they would like to have access (If access is not granted for an agent, the eDocs link will not appear in the global navigation.)

Step #2 - eDocs Landing/Search Page On this page you have the option to “Search” for a specific Individual Booking ID, or Group Booking ID (on the left side of the screen). Enter the ID number in the appropriate field and click “Enter”. If you prefer to browse all of the documents that are currently available for your agency, you can use the “Browse” feature (on the right side of the screen). By default it will show you any “New” documents that you haven’t already viewed in a previous session. You can also choose to see “All” documents, “Previously Viewed” documents, or documents that went “Direct to Guest”.

Step #3 - eDocs Results Page Once you perform a search for a specific booking, or browse for multiple documents, you will be brought to a results set where you may “View”, “Print”, “Download”, or “E-mail” each document. To view a PDF version of the document, click on the primary guest name within the “Guest PDF” column; once clicked a pop-up window will appear with the PDF version of the document (see details on pop-up functionality in Step #4).

To print a document, click on the print icon within the pop-up window for the document you’re viewing. You may also select multiple documents to print by clicking the check box next to each document you would like. You may also choose to “Select All”, and then click the “Print eDocs” button. To download a PDF version of the document to your computer, click on the download icon within the pop-up window for the document you’re viewing. Lastly, you may choose to e-mail a document to your clients by clicking on the “E-mail” link for the document you would like to send. Once clicked, you will be taken to the E-mail eDoc Form page (see Step #5 for details).

Step #4 - eDoc PDF Pop-Up Within this pop-up, you can interact with the PDF version of a document in several ways. The main body of the pop-up contains the actual PDF so you may view the document and any page within (Note: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the PDF).

Full PDF document controls are provided and you may Download/Save, Print, Zoom In/Out, etc., for each PDF, by clicking on the appropriate icon for each action. If you selected more than one eDoc from the results set, you will be able to move to the next (or previous) document using a pagination module in the upper-right corner of the pop-up (Note: Even if you have selected multiple documents, you can only interact with one PDF at a time). You’re also presented with an option to “Keep Ticket Booklet New” for each eDoc. By selecting this checkbox and clicking “Update”, the specific eDoc will be kept in the “New” documents area on CruisingPower.com, instead of moving to the “Previously Viewed” list.

Step #5 - E-mail eDocs Form Once you click on the “E-mail” link next to any document, you will be brought to the E-mail eDocs Form, where you will need to enter your client’s e-mail address. You may also choose to enter a CC, or BCC e-mail address, in case you would like to copy yourself on the e-mail. You will also be given an option to personalize the e-mail that is generated by entering a message to your clients in the space provided. Similar to Step #4, you may also choose to “Keep Ticket Booklet New” in this location as well. Once all the mandatory information is entered, click on “Send” and the E-mail is generated.

Step #6 - Client/Recipient E-mail After sending an E-mail through CruisingPower.com, your client will receive a Celebrity text-based e-mail for access to their eDocs. This E-mail will identify the Booking ID that the documents are for, along with links to view the full flash-based electronic document as well as the printer-friendly PDF version of the document. Any personalized message that you entered on the eDocs E-mail Form on CruisingPower.com is shown.

Step #7 - View Flash-Based or PDF eDoc By clicking on the respective link within the E-mail, your client will be able to view either the full flash-based electronic document, or the printer-friendly PDF document in a separate pop-up browser window.
