With this Service Pack release we are introducing a new look and user experience for release notes and onlineHelp. We’vemade the new design easier to navigate andmore user-friendly. Plus, we’ve addedmany featureupgrades that you have suggested, including:

n New colors and styling aligned with Ellie Mae branding

n Wider layout that allows for larger screen examples

n Improved organization and grouping of menus and side navigation links

n Easy to consume “at a glance” views of release notes items

n Links to Persona-based release notes

While the look and feel of the release notes and the Help is different, the overall process you should follow tolocate and read the release notes and find Help topics will not change. We look forward to your feedback aboutyour experience with the new release notes and online Help.

Updates to Features and Enhancements

Enhancements to Services

Verifications Support Added to Services Landing Page

A new Verifications category is now available on the Services Landing Page in Encompass LO Connect. Withthis release, support has been added for Finicity as an Asset Verification Service Provider. Once Finicity isconfigured and enabled by an administrator, LO Connect users can use Finicity to verify borrower assets on aloan.

Tip: As with any new service, Administrators need to configure the service beforeorders can be placed by users. For information on how to set up and configure a newservice, see the ServiceManagement help topic.

To Order Verification of Assets:

1. From a loan, select Services.

2. On the Services landing page, navigate to the Verifications section and select Order.

3. On the Finicity page, review the details and then select Order in the Action column.

4. Select Submit to submit the order.

5. Once the order is complete, select Leave Page to return to the Service landing page.

Flood Certification Support Added to Services Landing Page

A new Flood category is now available on the Services Landing Page in Encompass LO Connect. With thisrelease, support has been added for DataVerify as a flood certificate provider. Once DataVerify is configuredand enabled by an administrator, LO Connect users can use DataVerify to order a flood certificate for theloan's subject property.



Note: As with any new service, Administrators need to configure the service beforeorders can be placed by users. For information on how to setup and configure a newservice, see the ServiceManagement help topic.

To Order a Flood Certificate:

1. From a loan, select Services.

2. On the Services landing page, navigate to the Flood section and select Order.

3. Enter your credentials for the partner, and select Submit.

4. On the DataVerify page, review the details and select the type of order you want to place.

5. To change credentials, select Change Credentials.

6. To complete the order, select Place Order.

7. If the order is submitted successfully, a message displays. Select OK,



8. You can view the flood certification by selecting the attachment icon on the services landing pagefor the flood order.

Missing Fields Pop-Up Now Available for Fannie Mae DU Orders

A new pop-up window is available which displays any missing partner required fields at the time that the usersubmits and order for underwriting to FannieMaeDU. Users can use this new pop-up to ensure that allrequired fields are populated prior to submitting the loan for underwriting results.

Missing Fields Indicator Added for Fannie Mae DU and Freddie Mac LPA

A new missing fields indicator is available for users who are authorized to submit orders for FannieMaeDU and FreddieMac LPA underwriting results. This indicator notifies the user that data for partner requiredfields is missing from the loan. This indicator only displays if the administrator has enabled a service setup forthe user for either FannieMae or FreddieMac.

Form Updates

Update to Prepayment Penalty Value on the ULDD/PDD Input Form

In previous versions of the ULDD/PDD input forms in LOConnect (both the FannieMae form and FreddieMacforms), the value for the Prepayment Penalty on the form was blank by default. In this release, the defaultvalue is now may not.

Comma Separator Added Between Address 1 and Address 2 Values for Contacts

When an LOConnect user clicks the Address Book on a form and selects a contact, the contact’s contactinformation is populated to the relevant fields on the form. Starting in this release, the information from theAddress1 and Address2 fields are now separated by a comma (“,”) in the Street Address field when a contactis selected. In previous versions, there was no comma separating these two field values in the Street Addressfield.

Updates for Administrators

Opportunities View Now Available for Admin View

The Scenario Comparison Tools are now available for Administrators. When the Admin is viewing theEncompass Admin Portal they are now able to select the Opportunities link and view theOpportunities pageas a user. This enables administrators to test any changes and view the opportunities scenarios that anyusers have created.

Administrators Can Now Create Multiple Eligibility Letters

Administrators can now createmultiple eligibility letters in the Encompass Admin Portal. This change enablesadministrators more flexibility in the available Eligibility Letters that a user can choose from.

To Enable and Configure Eligibility Letter:

1. From the Encompass Admin Portal, select Opportunities Setup.

2. Select Eligibility Letter Management.

3. On the Eligibility Letter Management page, set the toggle to On to enable these controls or Off todisable them.

4. To add a new eligibility letters, select Add .

5. Use the editor to create an eligibility letter that is used when an LO Connect user sends aneligibility letter.

6. To add a custom field to the letter, select Insert Custom Field <>. This option is used toautomatically populate themessage with specific fields from the scenario data.

7. Select a field name to insert into the letter, and then select Add. When the letter is sent, thesefields display the details from the specific scenario.

8. When you are finished editing the letter, select Save.

9. To duplicate an existing eligibility letter select Duplicate .

10. To delete an existing template, select the template and then select Delete .

Updates and Enhancements

New Data Grid ElementIn the form designer, a new Data Grid element is now available for use on forms using the Form Layout design. After selecting Form Layout for the form layout, and then adding one or more category boxes to add to the form, the Data Grid option is displayed in the Layout Elements ribbon.


You can then drag the Data Grid element to a Category Box.

Note that you can add it to the body of a Category Box, but not the Category Box header. Additionally, youcannot add it to Group Box headers or Collection Boxes (nor Collection Box headers).

The Data Grid is not available for theMobile view.

Please note, the Data Grid is a read-only grid on the forms at this time. Users cannot edit, add, add, nor delete the Data Grid container at this time. Instead, web developers can configure it using custom Secure Scripting Framework (SSF) script. The SSF control is also now available for the Data Grid element to support configuration (config) and bind functionality.

The config function will be invoked by a user script to create a data grid. For example:

Business Category Added to Rolodex Field

A new Category option is now available to select for the Rolodex Field in the Rolodex form element. Formdevelopers can select Category for the Rolodex Field to ensure that the selected Business Category isdisplayed in the Category field in the Business Contacts screen in LOConnect. On the published form, whenthe LOConnect user selects the Address Book (i.e., the Rolodex) the Business Category will be populated inthe Category field.



In addition, the Rolodex property has been added to the Contact Button options in the form designer. If a form developer has added one or more Rolodex elements to a form, they can apply one of them to the Contact Button element on the form. After adding a Contact Button element to the form in the designer, the developer can select the element, and then the Rolodex options are displayed in the Properties panel. There they can select the Rolodex to associate with the Contact Button, and then select Category for the Rolodex Field.

On the published form in LO Connect, the Contact field can then be updated with selected category from the Rolodex.




‘Loan Application’ and ‘Application View’ Options Added to Button Actions

Input form developers can use the Button element’s Action field to control what will happen when an LOConnect user clicks the button on a published input form. In this release, two new options have been added tothe Action drop-down list: ‘Loan Application’ and ‘Application View’.

If Loan Application is used, the button will take the user to the Loan Application input form (i.e., loan is using2009 URLA forms).

If Application View is used, the button will take the user to the Application View input form (i.e., the loan isusing 2020 URLA forms).
