Front Lines EvangelismIn the Book of 2 Chronicles, King Jehoshaphat was faced with the prospect of three surrounding nations declaring war upon Judah. Faced with a dire situation, he begged God for guidance against the insurmountable odds. What he got back in return was a message: “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. The battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chr. 20:15b). That is the basis of the name of New Hope’s Frontlines Ministry. God used the singers and dancers who were sent first to confront the enemy before the rest of the army. In the same fashion, New Hope sends out the Frontlines Ministry, comprising singers, dancers, musicians, drama and production teams (video, sound, lights), throughout the weekend services to prepare the hearts of the congregation for God’s message.
