Dispose of unused product and packaging according to applicable local, state and federal regulations. Helpful Tips To limit odor when using indoors apply InstaGone with a brush or roller. Be sure to use in a well ventilated area or whenever possible, use an exhaust fan. For heavy duty stains, several applications may be needed. After using the product and removing the stain, you may wipe or wash down the treated surface with clean water to remove any residue and to minimize odor. (Note: This does not apply to surfaces such as acoustic ceiling tiles or spray textured “popcorn” ceilings) Do not stand directly under the area you are treating. Not intended for chrome surfaces. If InstaGone contacts chrome surface, rinse with water. FAQ 1. Q: If InstaGone gets on any vegetation, what should I do? A: Rinse with water to dilute InstaGone to avoid any problems. 2. Q: How long will InstaGone last after mixing with water? A: InstaGone will remain strong for approximately 180 days. 3. Q: Where can I store my unused InstaGone packets? A: Unused packets of InstaGone should be kept in a dry, cool area to ensure longer shelf life (one to one and a half years). 4. Q:What should I do when my sprayer seems clogged? A: Excessive shaking and spraying causes the particles to move into the “dip tube” and spray nozzle, making it easier to clog. If this happens, take sprayer out of bottle and place end of stem in a half of cup of water. Squeeze sprayer several times until sprayer is unclogged. This is good practice after every use. (some people may be more sensitive to odors than others in a concentrated form. When using the spray method the odor will intensify with each spray. Very little is needed. (23-g.) packet. • • Fill 48 oz. capacity Pressure Sprayer (1420 ml.), to fill-line and add (2) pre-measured .8-oz. (23-g.) packets. Fill 1 gallon (128 oz; 3785 ml.) store-bought garden pump sprayer (for larger areas) with water and add (4) pre-measured.8-oz. packets. It is recommended to screen the product with a cheese cloth or siphoning screen, holding inert material back, while pouring into the gallon pump sprayer. Note: Avoid inhaling powder when pouring into bottle of water. Screw sprayer onto bottle (22 oz. or 48 oz.). Shake bottle for one minute to ensure proper mixing. After mixing, let settle for 5-10 minutes before applying product to ensure that it is fully activated (for 48oz. Pressurized Sprayer, pump 15 to 20 strokes to pressurize before spraying). It is very common for sediment to form on the bottom of bottle. Once mixed and settled, do not shake bottle again, especially before each use. If you do shake by accident, let settle 5 min. before using it again. (It is good practice to flush the spray nozzle after each use. (SEE FAQ SECTION BELOW FOR DETAILS) Adjust the spray nozzle to the desired setting. Test the setting by spraying product into the sink or outside area. Avoid any over spray, for it may cause staining and bleaching on fabric material (including clothing). Apply to dry, stained area. Never spray on wet area, as it may dilute product. Wait approx. 5 minutes before examining stain for effectiveness. If stain persists, repeat the process. (Note: Areas that are more soiled than others may require more cleaning applications or other stain removal methods.) Note: Surface should be dry and free of debris, when applying Instagone to any stained area.
