FORWARD COLLISION WARNING PLUSRadar and video sensors detect whether the Renegade is approaching another vehicle or large obstacle in its path too rapidly and will warn or assist the driver in avoiding/mitigating the incident.

REAR CAMERA WITH DYNAMIC LINESThe ParkView back-up camera provides perfect visibility when reversing and assists the vehicle’s movement and direction thanks to the Dynamic Lines visible on the Uconnect™ screen.

BLIND SPOT MONITORING AND REAR CROSS PATH DETECTIONThese sentry systems constantly monitor the space between you and other vehicles. When a side or rear blind spot is encroached, you’re notifi ed via illuminated icons on sideview mirrors and an audible chime.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROLThe system uses a radar sensor mounted at the front of the vehicle to detect slower traffi c ahead, while cruise control is activated and adjusts to a safe distance by decelerating and controlled braking while returning to the set speed when the street ahead is clear.

AUTOMATIC PARK ASSIST - PARK SENSEThe system locates a parking space and guides the driver with audio and video instructions that also appear on the TFT instrument cluster. Plus, the new automatic pull-out function that assists in getting out of the parking spot. The driver needs to control the gear, brake and throttle position while the steering system controls the steering wheel.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING PLUSThe vehicle lane position is monitored by cameras and provides a visual warning if the vehicle approaches the lane boundaries unintentionally. Additionally, in case of lane drift the system proactively leverages the electronic power steering to help the driver in taking a corrective action and getting back in the lane.
