The NEW-LINE RADIATOR SET-UP app instantly calculates the water temperature your radiator
will reach at a given set-up angle. The calculus is based on the following base parameters: 30
degrees Celsius/ 80 kmh (vehicle speed). The app was engineered using New-Line radiators fit
with New-Line accessories (water pump and silicone pipes).
THE OPTIMALSET-UP APP
The New-Line experience began in the late 1990s, when karts were shifting to water-cooled engines on the quest for better performance. A jump in racing standards was in the works; but at one
condition: that the new engines be equipped with effi cient chilling systems. And herein lay a problem: radiators built specifi cally for karts did not exist yet. A problem, but also an opportunity for people gifted with entrepreneurial vision, the taste for new challenges, and the necessary know-how – people like Marco Malverti, who wanted to create a team and wanted this team to be on top, and the two Ferrari mechanics he partnered with, Alberto Frigieri and Massimo Benedetti. It all began as a small production for team use: a few units, functional, yet crafted meticulously down to the smallest detail. Within a year, rising interest around
the paddock set the stage for the big jump: forget the team and embrace production on a large scale! New-Line Racing was born, it was 1998. Today, New-Line is still number one and attracting new enthusiasts by the day. Our yearly production now averages 2000 units, evenly divided between karting, our main sector, and the automotive and quad areas. We have expanded beyond Italy and now serve markets all over the world: Europe, Russia, the USA, Japan, Thailand, Jamaica... RThe R is our basic model – it is the fi rst karting radiator New-Line launched on the market in 1998 and it is still going strong today. Basic, but designed to meet standards of excellence: it features two parallel chambers (top and bottom) for joint radiating action and a heat-resistant aluminum cap at the engine junction (where scolding hot water fl ows into the system).The R is the slimmest of our principal radiators (it is only 20 cm wide) and is therefore ideal for cold and temperate weather conditions and for regions where summer is mild. On the
coldest days maximum effi ciency is ensured by applying the curtain accessory, while on warmer track runs output may be enhanced by installing one of our add-on radiators, the Supplementare or the Hobby. The guarantee of optimal performance relative to a contained cooling volume also makes the R ideal for KF and KF-J classes (competitive, but running on less powerful engines than shifter categories) and for amateur racing.Besides the standard version, complete with accessories, the R is also available for custom order in a hand-buffed chrome version.

RSThe RS was launched in 2000, as the fi rst evolution of the R. Today it is New-Line’s best seller. A principal radiator, the RS has the same functional design as its predecessor: top and bottom chambers and a heat-resistant aluminum cap sealing the water inlet port.The key feature of the RS is versatility. Compared to the original New-Line concept, the RS has a broader radiating surface for enhanced performance (it is 24 cm wide). This makes the RS the ultimate year-round radiator, perfect for racing in any season and in all kinds of climate conditions, from icy cold circuits to
torrid tracks. Developed to satisfy drivers all over the world, all year long, the RS guarantees optimal effi ciency also in extreme conditions: in the bitter cold by way of the curtain accessory and in the blistering heat with the aid of one of the add-on radiators it comes with (Supplementare or Hobby). The versatility of the RS also makes it perfect for all karting categories, from the less aggressive to the roaring shifter classes. NEWNew-Line has grown to be a world leader thanks to the combination of the fi nest artisanal standards and cutting-edge technology. The NEW model is fruit of precisely this culture of growth, as its name suggests. It could be described as the high-power version of the RS – it is identical to it, except for an innovative development: the double cooling cycle. In the earlier model water is conveyed simulatenously to the two chambers on opposite sides of the ventilation grid (top and bottom) and as it goes through the system it drops in temperature, so by the
time it fl ows back into the engine it is again cold. In the NEW model after water completes the cooling cycle, before being pumped back into the engine, it runs through a second chilling cycle.Like the RS, the NEW is a 4-season radiator and is perfect for all types of engines, from non-shifters to the roaring KZ motors. Optimal effi ciency is guaranteed also in extreme conditions: in the bitter cold by way of the curtain accessory and in blistering heat with the aid of one of the add-on radiators it comes with (Supplementare or Hobby).

BIGOne of New-Line's premium models, the BIG made its debut in 2005. As its name suggests, it was developed as the "big brother" version of the model that came before it (the RS) with a specifi c goal: cater to the hottest months and regions of the racing season. The BIG is precisely that: it is big; actually, it is the biggest of all New-Line main radiators (with a record-setting width of 29 cm). Guaranteeing ultra strong cooling action, it is ideal for racing in the thick of summer heat. Initially targeted only to shifter categories (when it was launched shift-gear karts ran exclusively on 100cc engines that did not
suffer from temperature issues), today the Big radiator is perfect for all karting categories, from the power-charged KZ classes to non-shifters – so long as the sun is blazing.Like all New-Line radiators, the BIG is made of a composite aluminum alloy that makes it extremely resistant to elevated temperatures. And it comes complete with two optional support radiators (the Supplementary and the Hobby) for an extra effi ciency boost when the heat on track starts to rise.Like all New-Line principal radiators, the BIG is also availble with a chrome-plated fi nish, upon request.

The RS-V and BIG-V are the V-shaped version of the RS and BIG: same size parameters, but a convex design (forming a 150° angle). And thanks to their confi guration they represent the most revolutionary development of the New-Line experience.The V-shaped grill, in fact, allows to draw in air much more powerfully than a fl at one and at the same time provides an extended radiating surface (if the angled-surface were fl attened out, each radiator would measure close to 10 cm wider). In addition, both models
are characterized by a top-end "ledge": this works as an extra conveyor gent, guaranting the ultimate performance in terms of air intake. With these special features, the cooling action of these unique New-Line radiators is 20% more effi cient compared to the standard models they are inspired by.Both radiators are specifi cally intended for shifter categories and for warm racing conditions: the RS-V all year round, while the BIG-V in summer only. Neither model features the curtain accessory.

SUPPLEMENTAREThis is New-Line's basic supplemental radiator, as the name says and may be coupled to any principal model for an extra effi ciency boost. The Supplementare is designed to be installed horizontally behind the driver to harness ventilation from the air fl ows that converge around the seat. Connected to the engine on the right side of the driver and to the principal radiator on the left side, its function is to initiate
the heat-dissipation process: hot water pumps into it directly from the engine and goes through a fi rst cooling cycle, before being pumped into the main radiator and repeating the process.The Supplementare is intended for all categories except for the international KFJ (ex-KF3), where it is forbidden by offi cial regulations.As all New-Line radiators, it comes in a standard "raw" fi nish or a special-order shiny chrome look.

HOBBYThis is our other supplementary model. Originally created as a principal small-volume radiator (12 cm wide) for amateur racing and mono-brand series, its design refl ects the functional concept of our main line: vertical, with top and bottom chambers, and heat-resistant aluminum cap. When used like an add-on, it sits opposite to the main radiator: on the right side of the driver, next to the engine. Built like the radiators it supplements, the Hobby literally doubles up on cooling power. This makes it the ideal add-on for the most competitive categories where engines blare (the top non-shifter class, the KF, and the KZ classes). Like all radiators by New-Line, it may be ordered with our signature chrome fi nish.

S1 BIGThe S1 BIG is identical to the New-Line’s top of the line model (the BIG) except for the water hose, which connects facing front. This feature is engineered specifi cally for the Honda S1 powered classes of the American. With a front end attachment (instead of the standard rear-end solution) the water hose
creates a more direct and linear connection between engine and radiator, enhancing radiator performance and making things easier for mechanics. The USA teams who tried it have expressed enthusiasm for both its functional and easy management and for the effi ciency it yields.

S1 RSThe S1 RS is identical to the RS except for the water hose, which connects facing front (as in the S1 BIG). The solution is engineered specifi cally for the American market to improve the fl ow of water between engine and radiator.
