Chrissie was very talented and could make just about anything. She could arrange flowers, make corsages, she loved making homecoming mums for all her little sweeties, sweet diaper cakes, made red neck wine glasses, door wreaths and you name it, if she saw a picture she could make it, only bigger and better. She loved to cook. She could try a dish one time, go home and create it, only better. She was employed at Friendly Flower Shop for several years, at Bath and Body Works and most recently Girling Home Health which she really loved and most of all she loved her clients. Chrissie is survived by her husband, J. C. Morgan; her beloved sons, Stetson Davis Morgan and Wyatt Clay Morgan; her mom and step-dad, Della and Gary Shaffer; her dad and step-mother, Eldon and Karen Israel; her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Brittany Israel; a niece and nephew, Aubrey Israel and Cole Israel; her step-brother, Courtney Shaffer; her step-sisters, Lindsay Obituaries Page 2 Friday, June 10, 2016 The Observer/Enterprise Chrissie Diane Morgan, 32, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Visitation was held all day Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Shaffer Funeral Home’s Sherwood Way Chapel with family present 5-7 p.m. Funeral services were held at 10 am, Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Lakeview Bible Church, officiated by Russ Frasier and Reverend R.A. Evans. Interment followed at Pioneer Memorial Park. Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/ Sherwood Way. Chrissie Diane Israel was born February 5, 1984, in Abilene, Texas. She and her family lived in Noodle and Anson before moving to Bronte in 1988. She was raised there and attended K-12 at Bronte ISD, graduating in 2002 from Bronte High School. She also attended Howard College and Angelo State University studying Criminal Justice. She married her sweetheart, J. C. Morgan on September 24, 2011, in San Angelo. They purchased a house in Grape Creek where they made a home for their sons. She loved spending time with her boys and teaching them her love of the water, including swimming, fishing and taking them to the beach. She could spend hours making sand castles, looking for shells and burying them in the sand. Chrissie was a Christian and she loved going to church with her family. She was a member of Lakeview Bible Church. She was very active with her Youth Group, she loved and mentored each and every one of the young people in that group. She was looking forward to attending church camp with them later this month. She was the most loving, giving young and Lisa Shaffer; her Ammaw and Granddad, Joyce and Joe Decker; her Mammaw, Lawan Israel; her Memom, Maxine Shaffer; her father and mother- in-law, Ron and Tracy Morgan; her step-son, Josh Morgan. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Chrissie Morgan Memorial Fund at Crockett National Bank that has been set up for her boys. Online condolences may be made at www.shaffer pioneer.com. 48-1tc Brady Clawson, a 2016 RLHS graduate, represented Robert Lee at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes All Star basketball game in Brownwood recently. Rankin DeRonde, a 2016 graduate of Bronte High School, received the 2016 Robert Lee-Bronte Chapter No. 187 Order of the Eastern Star $300Scholarship. Rankin will be attending The University of Idaho, as this is the only University with an In- House Fire Lab. His career interest is to work for the National Forest Service as a Wildland Firefighter to eventually become captain and then someday toown his own Control Burn Team. Rankin is the son of Mike and Michelle DeRonde of Bronte. Because of low finances, Chapter No. 187 only gives one scholarship each year. A 2017 Graduate of Robert Lee High School will receive this scholarship next year.
