Welcome to the Clipsal and Schneider Electric Partner Business New Product Bulletin – showcasing our latest electrical products and solutions.

Just over 12 months ago the Clipsal and Schneider Electric Partner Business was formed, to unify our workforce and enable us to work better with you - our partners. We have continued to invest strongly in the Clipsal and Schneider Electric brands, and no matter what you buy from us, you should feel the same level of support and benefit from the expanded knowledge-base we can provide.

Since the formation of the Clipsal and Schneider Electric Partner Business we have launched several programmes. Our EcoXpert programme, which was launched at the end of last year, has been very successful. EcoXpert was specifically developed to prepare electrical contractors for the increasing demand of energy-efficient solutions. We have officially certified our first group of EcoXperts, with all participants providing feedback that the course was very informative and extremely worthwhile. Our customer experience has also been enhanced through many digital initiatives that provide easier access to the latest products, pricing and delivery information. The Clipsal iCat app now includes an extended range of Schneider Electric products and is a great tool for accessing the Trade Product Guide while you are out and about.

iSelect is another fantastic digital tool, which will assist with promoting your services directly to customers. The iSelect app allows you to use photographs of rooms built into the app or upload your customers’ photos, so they can select, mix and match a huge range of products and see how they would look in their home.

Acti 9 Isobar

Superior safety in final distributionTo complement the launch of Acti 9, the Isobar chassis (TNA, PEV) and accessories have been updated. The new Acti 9 Isobar chassis range has superseded the previous Multi 9 Isobar chassis and is now available for purchase in Australia. Manufacture of the Multi 9 Isobar chassis has ceased and will only be available while stock lasts.

Features and Benefits• Fully-encapsulated busbar system

• Reduced width, providing more room inside the distribution board. (Updated escutcheon is required)

• Interlock to prevent individual switch disconnectors from operating without a fitted outgoing device, providing even higher levels of safety

• A tool is incorporated into the chassis and required to operate the switch disconnector, inhibiting direct contact with operator

• Conversion of any outgoing tee-off, from an active to neutral using new conversion kit

• The plastic encapsulation has changed colour from light grey to black, to easily identify the new range

The complete residential circuit protection solutionFrom miniature circuit breakers and isolator switches, to RCDs and RCBOs; the Clipsal Resi MAX range offers unrivalled flexibility. All Clipsal Resi MAX circuit protection fits easily into the quality range of Clipsal Consumer Switchboards, Enclosures and Meter Boxes. Busbars and accessories are also available to simplify the installation.

The Clipsal Resi MAX range also offers a new SLIM RCBO. Rated at 4.5kA, it achieves a 6kA rating when combined with an HRC service fuse, which is in every residential dwelling connected to the grid. This feature provides peace of mind when using the SLIM RCBO for residential applications.
