The award signifies that Broadway House has been designated as one of approximately 1,000 extended care facilies out of over 15,000 naonally. The Women’s Choice Award helps people make educated decisions about where to find the best care by evaluang results from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 5-Star Rang system. The methodology for the award is unique in that it also assesses primary research about women’s healthcare preferences. America’s Best for Extended Care Facilies have received 4 or 5 star rangs from CMS. Less than 2% of skilled nursing facilies naonally achieve this advanced level of accreditaon. The Advanced Accreditaon confirms that Broadway House is connually assessing items that affect residents’ quality of life such as resident choice in the facility, resident rights, dignity and care issues like pain, weight loss, infecons, levels of rehabilitaon, staffing and prevenon of hospital readmissions.
