Well done to all those who travelled down to play and thank you to all those
who went along to support. We may not have walked away with the tro-
phies, but I believe all involved had a great time. The boys narrowly went
down to Geelong by 5 points. Sean Drummond and Hugh Bertram were
named as the two best for the day. The girls unfortunately lost their first
game, but turned it around with a close, low scoring (9-5) win in their second
game. The two players that stood out on the day were Lucy Bishop and Ab-
bey Harangozo. Lucy gave 100% for both
games, with a number of tackles, multi-
ple possessions and lots of encourage-
ment towards the team. Abbey applied
great pressure throughout the day, but
also kicked our only goal for the two
matches!
The best players for the day receive a $50 Coles/Myer gift card and the highly
sought after “BSR Sports Champion” headband. Sean, Hugh, Lucy and Abbey
can collect their prizes from MB Reception.
Thanks also to all those who assisted with cutting
oranges and running water for all the matches.

Movie Night Review:
By Tim Bull
The Resi film festival occurred on the 18th of May at 7:00pm. With the help of the Red
Frogs, the organisers were able to put on a successful evening full of laughs and excite-
ment. The prizes for the evening went to best actor, actress and best level/block film.
Overall there were six film entries in the event, and it is safe to say that they were all
high quality and thoroughly entertaining. Of these entries Trent Toohey’s Level 4 creat-
ed a Resi Cop film, which followed the police officer Evie Ball around Res as she
cleaned up the acts of fellow resi’s and ensured that we can live safely on Res. Level
5’s RL Tom Rochford revealed his profound passion for chickens. Level 6 did very well
for themselves, ensuring that the audience received their does of laughter for the even-
ing. Additionally, Level 3 amazed us with their Pal Survival stories dubbed over a scene
from the Wild Thornberries.
From the Village we saw G block and B block enter a video each. G Block was a rous-
ing rendition and lip sync of ‘The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars. And B Block’s Tim Bull put
his body on the line doing a dance that will be remember for the rest of the trimester.
The winner for best actor went to the man who loved his waffles and showed his enthu-
siasm for this culinary treat. The man himself Tom Coleman will be receiving a $50
Coles/Myer vouch.
The winner for best actress went to the girl who cleaned up Res and ensured that we
could live in a harmonious and peaceful community. Evie Ball will be receiving a $50
Coles/Myer voucher as well.
Finally, the best level/block film goes to… Trent Toohey and Abbey Harangozo’s Level
4, “Resi Cops.”
The winners can pick their prizes up from MB reception.
Thanks to everyone who came along and participated in the event.

The Noise/Guest/Party/Alcohol Free Period will begin at 5pm Friday
29th May and finish at 2pm Friday 19th June. The main priority for stu-
dent accommodation is to allow students the best opportunity for aca-
demic success. Part of allowing that is to make sure that residents are
in the best conditions possible to prepare for their exams. During the
Noise/Guest/Party/Alcohol Free Period, the following applies on resi-
dence
· No loud noise at anytime of the day
· No guests permitted
· No open alcohol in communal areas. Communal areas are any
place that is not your own room.
Breaches will incur financial penalties and formal breaches against
your residential record. We thank you for your cooperation during this
time to allow all residents to have an environment conducive to study-
ing.
We will have more information in the following weeks, but please
speak to your RL or a staff member if you have any questions.

Baked Eggs Serves 4 (2 each)
Ingredients
- 1 egg (or more if you want more than 1)
- cheese
- butter
Optional:
-pesto
-ham
-onions
-peppers
Method
Butter the ramekin or foil and put a layer of cheese in the bottom. Then crack the egg in and put more cheese on top. For a more complex meal you could add shredded ham and onions into the mix. Pesto is particularly good, if you have it then try putting a layer on top of the egg which should create a nice crispy pesto coating when cooked. Put your ramekin on a tray in the oven. If you're using the foil then really concen-trate on securing it to the tray so it doesn't spill over. Cook the egg for about 12-15 minutes on 180c. Some eggs take longer than others though so keep an eye on it and if you're not sure then you can always stab it with a knife and find out. When getting the egg out the ramekin will be incredibly hot so maybe take it out and let it cool down for a while. Then you can either eat it out of the ramekin or scoop/tip it out onto a plate
