SCHOOL FUNCTIONS / ACTIVITIES / EVENTS
ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (Pre-School)
DPS Dwarka organised an „Orientation Programme‟ for the parents of Pre-School
students on 02 April 2019 with an aim to introduce them to the functioning of the school.
The session began with the lighting of the lamp to have an auspicious start of the new
academic session.
In her welcome address, Ms. SunitaTanwar, Principal, DPS Dwarka gave an insight
into the vision and philosophy of the school. She enlightened the gathering by
highlighting school‟s achievements and felicitations. She shared with immense pride that
Mr. V.K. Shunglu, Hon‟ble Chairman, DPS Society, has been conferred with the
prestigious Padma Bhushan award. She also expressed with joy and honour that
DPS Dwarka has been conferred with prestigious National Water Award 2018 by the
Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation,
Government of India for the initiatives taken by the school towards conservation of
water.
Capt. Richa Sharma Katyal, Headmistress, DPS Dwarka accentuated the objectives,
curriculum, pedagogies and infrastructure of the school. She laid stress on cordial
teamwork of parents and teachers which can result in making the children grow up as
confident, morally conscious and responsible adults. The school counsellors also shared
their views on nurturing a child with love and care in order to build a strong foundation
for a glorious future. Later, the parents visited the classrooms for an interactive session
with the teachers.
APPRECIATION DAY (Classes I–IV)
With an aim to laud the efforts of the students of Classes I to IV for their academic
excellence in the session 2018-2019, a special assembly marked as „Appreciation Day‟
was organised on 16 April 2019. Ms. Sunita Tanwar, Principal, DPS Dwarka and
Capt. Richa Sharma Katyal, Headmistress, DPS Dwarka congratulated the awardees
and felicitated them with Honour Roll Awards for their perseverance, commitment and
dedication. In all, 401 students from Classes I–IV were the proud recipients of the Honour
Roll Award.
Perfect Attendance Certificates were also given to the students of Classes Pre-School to
IV acknowledging their efforts in refraining from absenteeism and maintaining regularity
to school. It was a moment of great pride for the students to be appreciated and decorated
for their outstanding performance.
SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY (Classes X & XII)
DPS Dwarka felicitated the young scholars of Classes X & XII on the occasion of the
Scholar Badge ceremony held on 30 April 2019. Ms. Namita Pradhan, Chairperson,
DPS Dwarka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony began with the
lighting of the lamp followed by a cultural programme. A melodious rendition by the
school choir and an orphic performance by the school band left the audience spellbound.
Ms. Namita Pradhan, Chairperson, DPS Dwarka congratulated the young scholars for
their exceptional academic performance. She emphasized that the young generation has
immense potential, will power and determination to overcome all obstacles and reach the
pinnacle of success.
Ms. Pradhan felicitated 63 meritorious students of Class XII with Gold Medals along
with trophies and certificates in appreciation of seven consecutive years of academic
excellence. 50 students were presented with Certificate of Excellence for their outstanding
performance in research, innovation, sports and cultural activities. Two students of Class
XII were felicitated for receiving the prestigious KVPY Scholarship. 12 students of Class
X who have successfully qualified the JSTS Examination were also acknowledged. 116
students of Classes X & XII were awarded scholar badge for their academic excellence
during the session 2018-19. The ceremony was witnessed by the proud parents of the
young scholars.
SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY (Class VI)
DPS Dwarka organized Scholar Badge ceremony on 30 April 2019 to felicitate the
scholars of Class VI for their outstanding academic performance during the session 2018-
2019.
Mr. A. K. Hazarika, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka graced the
occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the
distinguished guests. It was followed by a cultural programme by the school choir and the
school band.
Mr. A. K. Hazarika, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka congratulated the
young scholars on their achievement and awarded them with Scholar Badges. He
appreciated the untiring and relentless efforts of the Principal, Ms. Sunita Tanwar and her
entire team. Under her able guidance the students of DPS Dwarka have exhibited
exceptional performance in the board exams.
SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY (Classes VII – IX)
DPS Dwarka felicitated the scholars of Classes VII – IX for their outstanding academic
performance during the session 2018-2019 on the occasion of the Scholar Badge
ceremony held on 01 May 2019. Dr. Nandini Choudhury Sen, Member, Managing
Committee, DPS Dwarka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony began with an orphic performance by the school band. It was followed by
lighting of the lamp by the distinguished guests. A melodious rendition „You Raise Me
Up‟ by the school choir set the tone for the day and left the audience motivated.
Dr. Nandini Choudhury Sen, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka in her
address, congratulated all the proud awardees for excelling in academic and co-curricular
activities. She emphasized that it was a special moment for the students as they were
being acknowledged for their hard work. She presented Scholar badges and blazers to the
meritorious students and blessed them for a bright future ahead. She advised the students
to imbibe Swami Vivekanand‟s dictum “Arise awake and stop not till your goal is
attained”.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY (Primary Wing)
„Investiture Ceremony‟ for the Primary Wing of DPS Dwarka was held on 15 May
2019. The event began with the presentation by the school orchestra followed by the
auspicious lighting of the lamp. The soulful rendition of the welcome song enthralled the
gathering. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rahul Singh, IAS, District Magistrate and Deputy
Commissioner, South West Delhi, adorned the council members with badges and sashes.
He administered the oath of office to the new student council. He congratulated the newly
appointed team and expressed that this ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence
that the school reposes in the newly invested officer bearers. In his address, he urged the
team to discharge their duties diligently as in reality, it is the person who is remembered
and not his/her position.
A talk show, „Mentors of Life‟, presented by the students of class V, emphasized that we
are shaped by our experiences in life which collectively impart insights and valuable
lessons on the journey of life. This was followed by a foot tapping dance performance.
Donning the mantle of accountability, the Head Boy, Aarush Goyal and the Head Girl,
Meher Bakhru, expressed their gratitude towards the school for believing in them and
pledged to discharge their duties earnestly and responsibly.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO SPAIN AND FRANCE
An educational trip was organized by Ed Terra Edventures from 27 May 2019 to 05
June 2019 for the students of Classes VII–IX. A group of 22 students along with two
teachers in-charge Ms. Sumita Roy and Ms. Mohua Bhattacharjee ventured on this
unforgettable trip packed with fun, learning and adventure. The students got a panoramic
view of the French and Spanish culture, cuisine, people and history while travelling
through the breathtaking cities of Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Paris.
The students were able to see and appreciate the amazing art and architecture through
their visits to the Royal Palace, Santiago Bernabeu Football Stadium, Our Lady of the
Pillar, Church to name a few. The students also indulged in the French and Spanish
delectable cuisines and relished delicacies like „paella‟ a rice, vegetable and meat dish.
The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum and Disneyland were the star attractions of this
enriching tour that left everyone mesmerized, spellbound and rejuvenated.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO USA WEST COAST
13 students along with accompanying teacher Ms. Pooja Batra visited the West Coast of
USA from 11–21 June 2019. The trip was organized by Ed Terra Edventures. During
this trip the students were taken to visit renowned Universities like UC Berkeley,
Stanford, USC and UCLA. It was a highly informative and enlightening tour for the
students who wish to pursue higher education from the US.
Apart from this, students visited the famous city of San Francisco where they were taken
to the Golden Gate Bridge, Science Exploratorium, Intel Museum, Tesla
Showroom, Apple Centre and Computer History Museum. Students had a fun time
at the Yosemite National Park, Universal Studios and Six Flags Amusement Park. In
the second phase of the trip to the city of Los Angeles, students were taken to the
Beverly Hills, Dolby Theatre and Walk of Fame. The group also spent time shopping
at the popular shopping malls.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY (Senior Wing)
DPS Dwarka organized the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2019-20 on 24 July
2019. A total of 100 young leaders were invested with various responsibilities. The
occasion was graced by Mr. Anto Alphonse, DCP Dwarka as the Chief Guest. A
reverie of music and celestial beats by the school orchestra and school choir mesmerized
the audience. It was followed by a talk show on motivation and nuggets of success.
Ms. Sunita Tanwar, Principal, DPS Dwarka in her welcome address congratulated all
the school appointees and stated that leadership is practiced not so much in words, as in
attitude and in actions. Therefore, it is essential for us to realize that every action is a
reflection of our character, our integrity and our ability.
Mr. Anto Alphonse, DCP Dwarka, appreciated the cultural programme put up by the
students. He stated that the school music troupe was class apart. He was highly impressed
by the discipline and decorum exhibited by the students of the school. According to him,
the mantra of success is to pursue one‟s passion with utmost zeal and enthusiasm. Every
child is a leader, it is only for us to tap their latent potential. He decorated the newly
appointed members of the Student Council with badges and sashes and administered the
oath.
The Head Boys, Yash Mehan & Shaurya Palit and the Head Girls, Upasana Tiwari &
Ishita Vashisth, on behalf of the entire Student Council, emphasized that the onus of
leadership bestowed upon them is immense and they hope to not only emulate the bar set
by their predecessors but to raise it up a notch. They assured to uphold the great legacy of
the school and pledged to keep the DPS banner aloft. The ceremony was witnessed by the
proud parents of the young office bearers.
SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY (Class XI)
DPS Dwarka felicitated the young scholars of class XI on the occasion of the Scholar
Badge ceremony held on 26 July 2019. Mr. A.K. Hazarika, Member Managing
Committee, DPS Dwarka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp followed by a cultural programme.
Melodious rendition „You Raise Me Up‟ by the school choir and an orphic performance
by the school band left the audience spellbound.
Mr. A.K. Hazarika, Member Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka in his address,
congratulated the students for exhibiting excellent performance in the CBSE Class X
Board Examinations. He emphasized that apart from academics, co-curricular activities
play an important role in the holistic development of students. He further added that
students must be given the liberty to choose the stream of their choice and pursue their
passion.
Mr. Hazarika felicitated the meritorious students of class XI with Blue Tie and Blue
Blazers in recognition of six consecutive years of academic excellence. Scholar badges
were also awarded to the students for their outstanding academic performance in the
CBSE Class X Board Examinations 2018-19. The ceremony was witnessed by the proud
parents of the young scholars.
CELEBRATION OF WORLD HERITAGE DAY
History department of the school organized various activities to celebrate „World
Heritage Day‟ on 18 April 2019. The aim was to sensitize the students on the need to
conserve and preserve our heritage.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS
The students of classes Pre-School and Pre-Primary observed „Go Green-The Earth
Day‟ on 22 April 2019. They were sensitized about the various environmental issues
through fun filled activities. The young minds were instilled with the fact that there is an
urgent need of protecting our planet so that its precious resources are available to us in
future.
The blooming artists of class Pre-School were engaged in a craft activity wherein they did
beautiful balloon painting on the cut-out of a picture of the Earth. They were encouraged
to keep Mother Earth clean and green by adopting simple habits like throwing garbage in
bins, saving paper, switching off lights and fans when not in use, closing taps while
brushing teeth and stop using plastic products.
Children of class Pre-Primary collectively prepared a poster with an inspiring message
„We can change the world with our two little hands.‟ They painted the picture of Earth
with green and blue handprints signifying that together we can and we will make a
difference by doing our bit.
MOTHER‟S DAY CELEBRATIONS
Celebrating the essence, the warmth and the tenderness of a mother, a
„Certificate Designing‟ activity was conducted for the students of Class I on 30 April
2019.
Our eager beavers designed certificates for their „MOMS‟ to express their love and
respect for them. They also wrote heartwarming messages on it to show their gratitude for
the endless and selfless hard work of mothers. Through this activity, the kids were taught
to be appreciative for all that their mothers do for them.
SUMMER SPORTS COACHING CAMP
The Sports Department organized a „Summer Coaching Camp‟ from 18 May – 04 June
2019. Around 200 students participated in various disciplines like Yoga, Basketball,
Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Cricket and Lawn Tennis. Professional coaches
trained the students to attain expertise in the game of their choice.
JAN SHAKTI ABHIYAN
As per the instructions received from the Directorate of Education, various activities
were conducted under the Jan Shakti Abhiyan Programme. The aim of the campaign is
to generate awareness among the school students regarding the need to conserve and
preserve water – the most precious natural resource. 15 July 2019 was observed as
„School Students and Eco Club Day‟.
1. A Tree Plantation Drive was organized in the school premises on 15 July 2019.
Students of classes VI–VIII along with Ms. Sunita Tanwar, Principal, planted trees
in the school. This was done to reinforce the value of saving the environment in the
young minds.
2. A Poster Making Activity „Be Responsible–Conserve and Preserve‟ was organized
for the students of Classes VI–VIII. Students prepared beautiful posters on water,
electricity conservation and save our plant. The participants used their imagination
and creativity in the most appealing manner.
3. A Street Play for creating awareness towards „Water Conservation‟ was organized
on 17 July 2019 by Class IX students. The students used charts and placards as props
during the play. A classroom situation was created in which a teacher explained the
importance of water and its conservation for life and exhorted them to save water in
every possible manner.
4. An Essay Writing Competition based on the theme „Water Conservation‟ was
organized for the students of Class XI on 15 July 2019. The best 3 entries from every
section were awarded Commendation Certificates. The event not only sensitized the
students about the rising problem of water scarcity, it also prompted them to think
about novel ways to save and conserve water and made them aware of the direst
consequences of the lack of water. Further, the best entries were displayed on the
creative corners of the school for all the students to read and appreciate.
5. A Debate Competition on the topic „A National Water Grid for India: A Boon or
Bane‟ was organized on 19 July 2019. The competition was open for the students of
Classes XI & XII. The event created awareness in the students about the problem of
water which gravely affects our country. It reflected a bright spark in the young
learners as they put forth their ideas and expressed their opinions on this national issue
about Water Conservation.
ACTIVITIES UNDER UNESCO ASPnet PROJECT
a) Collage Making Competition was conducted for the students of Class XI on the
following topics:-
i) Constitution of UNESCO focusing on different articles
ii) UNESCO World Heritage Sites
iii) UNESCO as an Organization
b) Essay Writing Competition on UNESCO‟s Role in Conservation of Heritage
Sites was organized for the students of Class XI.
c) A Group Discussion on the topic Sustainable Development was organized for the
students of Class XI.
d) Students were given a brief introduction on UNESCO. Thereafter they expressed
their views on the following topics:-
i) UNESCO unite for Heritage
ii) General history of Africa
iii) Reviewing spirit of Mosul
iv) Natural Science
BE CLEAN, BE HEALTHY – Activities by Social Initiative Club
Cleanliness plays a vital role in our daily lives and emphasizing the same, „The Social
Initiative Club‟ conducted an array of enthralling activities in the month of April 2019 like
slogan writing, discussion etc. in which the students participated with great zest and
enthusiasm. To sensitize the students towards the need for a „cleaner, healthier world‟, an
„Awareness Rally‟ was carried out by the students. They took a pledge to clean their school,
homes, public places and surroundings thereby creating awareness about the importance of
being clean and healthy.
NIHON NO KAORI-2019 – Annual Inter DPS Japanese Language Festival
DPS Dwarka under the aegis of the DPS Society organized Nihon No Kaori 2019–
Annual Inter DPS Japanese Language Festival on 23 August 2019. Students from
twelve Delhi Public Schools participated in various offsite and onsite events.
The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Ms. Namita Pradhan, Chairperson,
DPS Dwarka as the Chief Guest. Dr. Zeenat Khader, Joint Secretary, DPS Society
was the Guest of Honour. The event was also graced by Mr. Masahiro Kobayashi,
First Secretary, Embassy of Japan as the Distinguished Guest.
The festival provided the students a platform to exhibit their inherent talent and
understanding of the Japanese Language. Various competitions like Japanese Dance,
Japanese Song, Picking Beans with Chopsticks, Just A Minute, Making Japanese Dolls
and Creating a Mascot were organized to test the language skills of the students.
The team from DPS Noida was adjudged the Overall Winners of Nihon No Kaori 2019.
DPS Greater Noida and DPS Bulandshahr were the First and Second Runners up
respectively.
FIT INDIA PLOGGING RUN
To commemorate 150th
Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi
„FIT INDIA Plogging Run‟ was organized on 02 October 2019. Students of Classes
IX–XII along with teachers picked up / collected single use plastic waste from the
dedicated path of 2-kilometres near the school. Disposable gloves were provided to the
students by the school. Students carried placards and raised slogans to stop use of plastics
and promote use of jute bags.
In order to emphasize the importance of cleanliness in our surroundings and to catch
them young, various class activities were organized for the students of classes II to VIII.
Students creatively brought forth the hazards of use of plastics by making colourful
posters and paintings. A „Swachhta Awareness March‟ was also carried out by the
students within the school premises to raise awareness about maintaining basic health and
hygiene. All the students of the school took a pledge reaffirming to extend their support
towards the cause of „Swachh Bharat‟.

RUMPELSTILTSKIN… A Twist In The Tale
Dance and drama are the loftiest, the most moving and one of the most beautiful of the
art forms. The dates 03 & 04 October 2019 were marked by vibrant performances of the
Pre-Primary students of DPS Dwarka in the presentation titled „Rumpelstiltskin…
A Twist In The Tale‟. The event sparkled with the gracious presence of the Chief
Guests, Dr. Kiran Datar, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Dwarka on
03 October 2019 and Ms. Namita Pradhan, Chairperson, DPS Dwarka on
04 October 2019. The stage production enthralled the audience with the delightful
portrayal of the true power of colours in our life.
ANNUAL FEST 2019
DPS Dwarka organized „Annual Fest 2019‟ on 11 & 12 October 2019. This mega event
was a compendium of 52 events organized by 13 clubs / societies of the school. More
than 1000 students from 32 renowned schools of Delhi & NCR participated in various
online, offline and onsite events.
Teachers of all departments along with their student representatives had planned
innovative and interesting competitions. During the two day fest the entire school campus
was abuzz with exciting and engaging activities. Events like Manuscriptus, Problem
Solving, BAG-it, Wisecrack, Encore, Programming, Robo-Soccer, Gone-Nuclear, Tana
Bana, Laugh Lines, Arthraj, Picture Perfect, Quiz, Shloka Recitation ignited the young
minds who came up with novel ideas and displayed their talent. All the events were
adjudged by eminent panel of judges. It was a great learning experience for the students
coupled with fun and enjoyment.
DPS Noida won the Overall Winners trophy followed by DPS Gurgaon and
DPS R.K. Puram as the First and Second Runners up respectively.

Delhi Public School, Dwarka showcased its stage production ueks ue% Hkkjrk; in the school
auditorium on 18 & 19 December 2019. The occasion was graced by the benign presence
of Padam Bhushan Shri V.K. Shunglu, Chairman, DPS Society as the Chief Guest
and Ms. Madhu Shunglu as the Distinguished Guest on 18 December 2019.
Mr. Sushil Kumar, Deputy Director of Education, South West B-2 was the
Distinguished Guest on 19 December 2019.
The play highlighted the magnificent history of India – A Mystical Land that is almost
500 years old with rich culture and traditions. The journey from the days of Indus Valley
Civilization to the battle of 1857 and finally the globalized India was beautifully
showcased through the dance drama. The aim was to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our
great heroes and create an awakening in the young generation towards our glorious
culture heritage.
WATER CONSERVATION – A Social Initiative by DPS Dwarka
DPS Dwarka is an environment conscious school. Due care is taken to ensure
sustainability and maintenance of natural resources. Water conservation is accorded
prime importance and various initiatives are taken up by us in this direction:
The activities help inculcate the impact of preventing water wastage in however small
way one can. All students participated in the activities with great interest and enthusiasm.
CHANGE 150 - A Youth Powered Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi‟s 150th
Birth
Anniversary
DPS Dwarka organized the event CHANGE 150 - A Youth Powered Celebration of
Mahatma Gandhi‟s 150th
Birth Anniversary on 26 August 2019. About 1500 students
of Classes VI to XII participated in this event.
During this activity, every student was provided a postcard and was asked to propose one
civic change they would like to see in the society. The students used both Hindi and
English languages to express their thoughts. They wrote slogans and creatively expressed
their ideas through visuals.
SWACHHTA PAKHWADA
Swachhta Pakhwada was observed by the students of DPS Dwarka from
01–11 September 2019 with enthusiasm, zeal and unprecedented fervor. A plethora of
activities were conducted in the school focusing on the issues and practices of cleanliness
and to inculcate in the students the value of „Swachhta‟.
The drive commenced with the students taking a pledge to maintain and create awareness
about cleanliness in their surroundings. Poster making competition was organized, with
the students made highly informative and creative posters. The students were shown a
power-point presentation highlighting the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON 10 g¶rs] 10 cts] 10 feuV
An Awareness Programme on 10 g¶rs] 10 cts] 10 feuV was organized at Thyagraj
Stadium, INA, New Delhi on 30 September 2019 for heads and teachers of Private
Schools and Govt. Aided Schools of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The Hon‟ble
Dy. Chief Minister, Principal Secretary (Health), Secretary Education, Director
Education and Other Senior Officers of Health Dept. and Directorate of Education
attended the programme.
As a nodal school, DPS Dwarka forwarded the circular received from Directorate of
Education to all fifteen associated schools on 30 September 2019. A live streaming of
10 g¶rs] 10 cts] 10 feuV campaign was shown to the students of our school on
01 October 2019.
SWACHHTA HI SEVA CAMPAIGN
Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2019 focussed on Plastic Waste Management as its key
theme. Various activities were conducted for students of Classes I to XI to limit the use of
Single Use Plastic.
NATIONAL UNITY DAY
Senior Wing
To celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on 31 October 2019,
DPS Dwarka organized a plethora of activities. The students of Classes I–XII took a
pledge in the spirit of unification of their country which was made possible by the vision
and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The students of Classes
IX–XII participated in the „Run for Unity‟. An Intra-Section Poster Making Competition
was organized for Class XI on the topic, „India Stands for Unity‟. To enthuse the students
of other classes with the spirit of unity, the posters were displayed all over the school.
Further, an Inter-House Hindi Speech Competition was organized for Classes VI–VIII, on
the topic ‘ljnkj iVsy vkSj fofHkUu fj;klrksa dks feykus dk mudk liuk’.
Primary Wing
Students of Class I recited a poem Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat. A Picture Collage
highlighting the role of Sardar Patel in promoting unity and freedom of India was
prepared by the students of Class II. A Just A Minute competition was organised for the
students of Class III wherein they spoke about the contributions of Sardar Patel towards
unification of India. Students of Class IV wrote short paragraphs highlighting
Sardar Patel‟s contribution in unifying India. A Hindi Paragraph Writing activity was
organised for the students of Class V wherein they penned their thoughts about Sardar
Patel‟s life.
The event turned out to be a remarkable success as all the students enjoyed working
together manifesting solidarity and dedication to preserve the unity, integrity and security
of the nation.
VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
Vigilance Awareness Week was observed at DPS Dwarka from 28 October 2019 to
01 November 2019 in compliance with the guidelines issued by CBSE.
The theme for this year‟s, Vigilance Awareness Week was „Integrity – A Way of Life‟.
In line with the letter & spirit of the theme and in accordance with the directives of
CBSE, several activities were organized covering a wide spectrum of the society. The
aim was to spread awareness and sensitize the students about ways and means to fight
corrupt practices.
FIT INDIA MOVEMENT – FITNESS WEEK
To commemorate the Fit India Movement launched by the Govt. of India, Fitness Week
was observed at DPS Dwarka from 13–22 November 2019. Various activities were
conducted for the students in compliance with the guidelines issued by CBSE.
COMMUNAL HARMONY CAMPAIGN WEEK & FLAG DAY
Students & Staff of DPS Dwarka have contributed an amount of `8250 towards National
Foundation for Communal Harmony. This was an initiative taken up by the Social
Initiatives Club of DPS Dwarka to celebrate Communal Harmony Campaign Week &
Flag Day from 19–25 November 2019.
CONSTITUTION DAY
To mark the 70th
Anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution, students of
Class IX of DPS Dwarka, conducted a special assembly on 26 November 2019. The
objective of the assembly was to observe the landmark day and perpetrate awareness
among the younger batches of students, about the significance of this glorious document.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
The 73rd
Independence Day was celebrated by the Primary Wing of DPS Dwarka on
13 August 2019 with great enthusiasm and profound devotion to the motherland.
A special assembly was conducted by the students of Ganges and Jhelum House to mark
the occasion.
RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATIONS
The students of Pre-School celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 13 August 2019. On this
auspicious occasion children made beautiful rakhis using various craft material. A talk on
Raksha Bandhan by the teachers educated the students about the meaning and
significance of this festival. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity that tickled
their creative side and celebrated the virtuous bond of love between brothers and sisters.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS
The students of Class Pre-School celebrated Janamashtami on 22 August 2019 with
great delight. A special assembly was conducted to mark the birth of the deity. The
assembly began with an auspicious note, as „aarti‟ was performed by the Principal and
Headmistress.
TEACHERS‟ DAY CELEBRATIONS
PRIMARY WING
The students of Classes Pre-School to II solemnly celebrated Teacher‟s Day on
05 September 2019. According, to a Tamil saying, he who teaches one to read and write,
in other words he who imparts education, is good himself. In order to strengthen their
belief in the shloka xq#czZãk xq# fo”.kq% xq#nsZoks egs’oj, our young artists of Classes I & II
presented adorable handmade cards to their teachers. They expressed their gratitude and
humility towards their gurus through this activity. Students of Pre-Primary coloured a
picture of a classroom scene and wrote names of their respective class teachers on the
worksheet. The tiny tots of Pre-School articulated their affection and admiration for their
teachers by speaking a few lines about their favourite teacher.
SENIOR WING
A Special Assembly was organised on the occasion of Teacher‟s Day on 05 September
2019. The celebration commemorated Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan‟s countless
achievements and hailed him as one of the pioneer leaders and path blazers of India. The
assembly commenced with prayers conducted by the Head Girls and Head Boys of DPS
Dwarka. This was followed by an inspirational thought for the day and a thought
provoking deliberation on the role of teachers from ancient to modern India.
Ms. Bikramjeet Kaur was felicitated with the Role Model Teacher Award by the
DPS Society.
TWINKLING NIGHTS – THE PYJAMA PARTY
Twinkling Nights-The Pyjama Party was organized for Pre-Schoolers on
12 September 2019. Students came dressed up in their nightwear and participated in an
assemblage of activities. They enjoyed making shadows of night animals with the help of
torch and listened to the sounds heard at night such as a watchman‟s call, sound of his
stick, etc. Games like „Pass the Parcel‟ and making stars and moon through craft were
enjoyed by the children. They learnt to match the daily activities to day and night. The
rhythmic dancing enhanced the fun quotient of the day. It is quintessential to instill the
habit of maintaining proper hygiene, so children were made aware of the proper usage of
a toothbrush in order to inculcate the habit of brushing at night. The day‟s objective was
fulfilled with children learning to share and care for each other in an informal
environment.
DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
The students of classes Pre-School and Pre-Primary celebrated Diwali on 24 October
2019 with immense joy.
Celebrations began with a special assembly conducted by Pre –Schoolers. The festival of
lights came alive when the school wore a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning
the stage. All students were dressed in colourful traditional clothes.
CULTURAL PTM – Classes VI to VIII
A Cultural PTM was organized on 28 November 2019. Students of Classes VI to VIII
had put up an exhibition displaying various activities that they learn during their SUPW
periods. Students of Theatre Club exhibited their theatrical skills by enacting a role play.
Members of the Chef‟s Club displayed various dishes which they had learnt to prepare as
a part of cooking without fire. Members of Art and Craft Club and Needle work Club
displayed the exhibits which were prepared by them. It gave a glimpse of the various
co-curricular activities which children learn in school.
PRAKASH UTSAV CELEBRATIONS
Classes Pre-School and Pre-Primary joyously took part in the auspicious Prakash Utsav
celebrations on 11 November 2019. A special assembly was conducted to celebrate the
birthday of Guru Nanak Dev. The students came dressed up in their traditional wear.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLIES
EARTH DAY
A Special Assembly was presented by Chenab House to celebrate Earth Day. The
students enthusiastically relayed the cause of our unparalleled, unique planet and strived
to create awareness about the need to actively preserve and enhance it. The assembly
started with an orphic song by the school choir dedicated to Mother Earth. This was
followed by the sounding of the Earth Bell that stood as a solemn reminder of our duty
towards Mother Earth. The theme was further substantial by an inspirational poem,
thought for the Day and Talk Show. The assembly helped us renew our pledge and
dedication towards our planet and motivated us to be active participants in its well being.
MOTHER‟S DAY
A Special Assembly was presented by Jhelum House to celebrate Mother‟s Day. The
students highlighted the role of mothers and their positive influence in our lives. The
assembly began with a song by the school choir dedicated to all the mothers. An
inspirational thought for the Day and a self composed poem with the central idea that
mothers make umpteen sacrifices and work relentlessly towards our better tomorrow
were presented. A Talk Show substantiated the theme further and left everyone with
renewed gratitude for their mothers.
CELEBRATION OF SPECIAL WEEKS
HEALTHY FOOD WEEK
In consonance with the theme of the month „Food and My Senses‟ and to reinforce the
importance of eating healthy food, „Healthy Food Week‟ was organized for the students
of Class I from 15–18 April 2019. Children carried food items like veg pulao/idlis/poha,
white bread sandwiches and stuffed paranthas in their tiffins. They were also encouraged
to bring healthy beverages like milk, fruit juice and lemonade as per the schedule given to
them. The objective of the activity was to instill good eating habits and to say 'No' to
junk food.
ME & MYSELF WEEK
To meet the pre-requisites of early learning, „Me & Myself Week‟ was organized for
the Pre-Primary students from 22–26 April 2019. Keeping in mind the age, aptitude and
interests of the young learners, various hands-on activities were organized. To help
children overcome inhibitions of speaking and to bring out eloquent speakers, students
were given an opportunity to introduce themselves in front of their peers. A „Puppet
Making‟ activity was also conducted to familiarize the children with different body
parts. To inculcate the habit of washing hands, a „Hand Wash Demonstration‟ was
presented in the class. The week culminated with an Intra-Section Poem Recitation
Competition. Our young poets learnt about their body parts while reciting a beautiful
poem „I Am Special, I Am Me‟.
THE WORLD AROUND ME WEEK
To acclimatize the Pre-Schoolers with the world around them, „The World Around Me
Week‟ was observed from 22–26 April 2019. It aimed at making the new entrants
comfortable with their surroundings. During the week a list of activities were conducted.
The children zestfully participated in a speaking activity, wherein they spoke about their
'Family' which gave a boost to their confidence and helped them build a rapport with
their teachers.
School being their second home, they were acquainted with the rooms like music, dance
and activity room, the rooms to which they would be a frequent visitor. Giving a feel of
their house, 'My Home' was set up in the Pre-School courtyard. It was a marvellous
display of Home away from Home. The week came to an end with a 'Collage Making'
activity, wherein children pasted pictures of places in their neighbourhood like school,
hospital, market etc. It was indeed a learning experience as every activity added up to
their knowledge.
DON‟T LET THE DROP, DROP WEEK
To celebrate „World Water Day‟ and to educate children about the importance of every
drop of water, „Don‟t Let the Drop, Drop‟ Week was organized from 22–26 April 2019.
Students of Classes I to V participated in a series of activities to focus attention on water
conservation.

RHYTHM OF RAIN-THE MONSOON WEEK
Rhythm of Rain-The Monsoon Week was organized for the Pre-Schoolers from
15–19 July 2019. Scholastic and co-scholastic nourishment was fulfilled with careful
planning and execution of the activities. The students‟ attention was gripped with craft
activities like Umbrella making using glitter paper, „Froggy jump‟ wearing a Froggy
Headgear and sailing colourful paper boats in the fountain area. The children unfolded
their creativity using vibrant colours in an Intra Section Colouring Competition. The
students were constructively engaged in various hands-on activities. The week
culminated with Rainy Day Rambling wherein the Do‟s and Don‟ts of the monsoon
season were discussed.
DON‟T USE, ONLY REFUSE PLASTIC WEEK
In order to highlight the detrimental effects of plastic on our natural environment, the
„Don‟t Use, Only Refuse Plastic‟ Week was organized for the students of Classes I to V
from 15–19 July 2019.

Class V: Intra-Section Competition on the topic, „Plastic-A Health Hazard‟ wherein they
spoke on ways to „Reduce and Reuse‟ plastic.
I KNOW MY SENSES WEEK
To create sensory awareness among the children, „I Know My Senses Week‟ was
organized from 22–26 July 2019 for the students of class Pre-School. The week
highlighted the importance of sense organs. To make learning an enjoyable experience,
various activities such as making an Eye Mask, decorating a paper rattle, making
origami flowers and smelling the perfume sprayed on it were organized. Our eager
beavers pasted different types of textures on a cut-out of a hand. They were able to
identify, touch and feel each texture in order to understand the role of skin as a sense
organ. Children explored their sense of taste as they tasted various food items with
different flavours such as sweet Chocos and salty biscuits. The exposure equipped the
children with comprehending the importance of sense organs.
HEALTH AND HYGIENE WEEK
With the aim of guiding and sensitizing the students, Health and Hygiene Week was
organized for the students of class Pre-Primary from 22–26 July 2019.
A plethora of activities were designed to stimulate the young minds towards learning the
importance of good health and hygiene. In the activity, „Bathing your Doll‟, the children
scrubbed and dabbed their dolls with soap and water. Interactive Sessions by the
teachers as well as the school doctor highlighted the importance of a healthy way of life.
Children promoted various health care products in an Intra-Section Competition, „Jingle
Time‟. They were taken to the nearby „Safal Store‟ in order to comprehend the benefits
of eating fruits and vegetables for a healthy growth.
To define the significance of cleanliness a „Cleanliness Drive‟ was organized where the
young enthusiasts carried out cleaning of the classroom and surrounding environs. The
week successfully engraved the message of maintaining good health and hygiene.
PATRIOTIC PALETTE WEEK
Patriotic Palette Week was organized for the students of class Pre-School from
05–09 August 2019. To instill patriotic fervour among the students a mélange of patriotic
activities were organized. The students made tri-coloured flags by cotton dabbing and
decorated their classrooms with tri-coloured kites. The teachers highlighted the supreme
sacrifices of our freedom fighters by staging a small skit depicting the freedom struggle.
The hands-on activities such as finger painting, ear-bud painting, tearing and pasting as
well as cotton dabbing enabled the children to learn about the National fruit, tree, bird
and animal, in a fun filled way. The children pledged to respect their country and to keep
it clean and green.
SAFETY ON WHEELS – THE TRANSPORT WEEK (PRE-SCHOOL)
To apprise young learners about the do‟s and don‟ts while being on road, „Safety on
Wheels-The Transport Week‟ was organized for the students of class Pre-School from
02–06 September 2019. The week accentuated various safety measures to be taken
while on road. It unfolded many interesting activities. Different means of transport were
discussed through activities such as making a submarine, truck and rocket using straws,
buttons, sequins and origami sheets.
GO GREEN WEEK
Green is more than just a colour. It also means taking special steps to protect the
environment - the water, the land and the air we breathe. Teaching kids about „green
living‟ is a way to start a change. Students of class Pre-Primary learned about the role of
going green through various fun-filled activities in the Go Green Week
09–13 September 2019.
THE TRANSPORT WEEK (PRE-PRIMARY)
The Transport Week was organized for the students of class Pre Primary from
25–29 November 2019. A variety of activities were conducted to make children aware of
various means of transport. The students visited the Transport office of the school where
they keenly observed school buses, cars, motorbikes etc. They gained knowledge about
the number of wheels, seating capacity etc. of various vehicles. They were also explained
the functions of the department, keeping in view the safety of the children.
THE FLORA „N‟ FAUNA WEEK
The Flora „n‟ Fauna Week was observed from 25–29 November 2019. Children were
taken out for a nature walk where they experienced the sights, scents, sounds and textures
of the outdoors. Throughout the week, children were delightfully involved in singing
songs and reciting rhymes revolving around the theme of „Nature‟.
Related craft activities were conducted wherein children designed cats, giraffes, starfish
as well as sheep. The aim of these activities was to facilitate students to differentiate
between Pet animals, Wild animals, Farm animals and Water animals. Students were
creatively involved in the process of learning about various animal habitats, their food
habits and sounds as well as names of their young ones. Students also created a
captivating collage differentiating plant and animal products.
EDUCATIONAL TRIPS
VISIT TO DEPARTMENTAL STORE
The students of Pre-School visited „More‟, a Departmental Store on 12 July 2019. The
visit was educative as children explored the different sections of the store. The vibrant
display of fresh fruits, flavoursome bakery items, canned food, milk products etc. was a
feast for their eyes. The students were made aware of the healthy and unhealthy food
under the guidance of their teachers. They also observed the billing process and customer-
service of the store.
The visit helped the young ones to get conversant with the process of buying in a store -
right from choosing an item, placing it in the cart, queuing-up for payment etc. In order to
comprehend the purchase procedure, teachers facilitated the children in buying packets of
biscuits. The children enjoyed their visit and came out beaming with excitement and
happiness.
VISIT TO SULABH INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM
Students of Class VI visited „Sulabh International Museum of Toilets‟ on 23 July
2019, as a part of the cleanliness drive, under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Students were shown a documentary on how open defecation can lead to infection. They
also observed the functioning of „Sulabh Public School‟, where the children of
scavengers are provided free education, and the „Effluent Treatment System‟, where
biogas is made from human excreta and is used for various purposes. In the Museum,
children were amazed to see the rare collection of facts, pictures and historic evolution of
toilets. The visit generated awareness among the students towards proper sanitation,
hygiene and cleanliness.
STAR ACHIEVERS
12 students of DPS Dwarka qualified the JSTSE Scholarship Examination 2018-19.
Kartik Gulia, Chhavi Malhotra, Vaidehi Jha, Lakshya Vardhan Rathore, Palak
Gupta, Kanak Mandavat, Aviral Vishwakarma, Neel Lodha, Taniha Bhutani, Arnav
Gupta, Dhananjay Tiwari and Nandini Ruhela are the proud recipients of this
prestigious scholarship.
Hrishika Chakraborty of Class X qualified the NTSE (Stage I) Scholarship
Examination 2018-19 conducted by the Science Branch, Directorate of Education.
Kartik Gulia, Palak Gupta, Vaidehi Jha and Aviral Vishwarkarma of Class IX
qualified the DPS Science and Maths Talent Examination SMTE (Level II) 2018-19
organized by the Delhi Public School Society. They attended the Academic Camp held
at DPS Mathura Road from 20–25 May 2019. Kartik Gulia received a cash prize of
`10,000/- for securing All India Rank–5 in this exam. Palak Gupta, Vaidehi Jha and
Aviral Vishwarkarma received `1,000/- each.
Sidhya Tikku (XII E) was selected as a Grand Prize Winner by JBoss Community for
his contributions to open source and completing 42 tasks as part of Google-Code-in 2018.
He was felicitated in the Grand Prize Winner‟s Summit held at San Francisco.
Diya Jain of (X B) has been awarded the SOF Scholarship of Excellence in English
(SEEE) for the year 2018-19. She was presented a Merit Certificate and a cheque of
`5,000/-.
Partha Khurana (VII E) secured International Rank -2 in the National Cyber
Olympiad. He received a cheque worth `25,000/- and a Certificate of outstanding
performance. He was also presented the Academic Excellence Scholarship Trophy and a
cheque of `5,000/- by SOF for Exceptional Performance in IMO, NCO, IEO.
Lakshita Leekha (IV A) secured Zonal Rank -I and bagged Zonal Gold Medal, cash
prize of `5,000/- and Certificate of Zonal Excellence in National Science Olympiad.
Garvit Singh Waldia (V C) was awarded a Winner‟s Certificate in BRICSMath.com
Online International Competition in Mathematics.
Samaira Malhotra (V D) received a Certificate for securing 65% in the Aryabhatta
Interschool Mathematics Competition held at Summer Fields School.
Upasana Tiwari (XI A) was adjudged as the Student of the Year by the Times of India,

Championship-2019 at Karnataka from 30 May–03 June 2019. He secured Second
Position in 1000 metres and Third Position in 500 metres category. He also bagged
National Record for longest performance by most skaters (96 hours).

Harshita Madan (XII F) was felicitated for securing Zonal Rank -2 and International
Rank -40 in the International Company Secretaries Olympiad organized by SOF. She
was presented a Silver Medal, Certificate and a cheque of `5,000/-.
04 students of DPS Dwarka were selected in the winners list in a Painting Competition
organized by Korean Cultural Centre India, Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
Ananya Shukla (XI C) secured Third Position and won a cash prize of `5,000/-. Ayush
Dash (XI G) won a Special Prize worth `2,000/- in the Senior Category. Ileanna Barua
(III A) and Vansh Negi (V A) won Special Prize in the Junior Category and were
presented `1,000/- each.
Eshan Goel (XII G) is one of the six members of Phoolvari – a gardening startup by
high school students. Team Phoolvari won the First Position in the TiE Young
Entrepreneurs Program. The team got global recognition and was felicitated by Mr.
Conrad Turner, Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, US Embassy in a grand convocation
ceremony held at the American Centre. They were awarded a cash prize of Rupees One
Lakh.
7 students of DPS Dwarka have qualified the 1st Level of DPS Science Maths Talent
Examination conducted by DPS Society on 20 November 2019. The students are Arnav
Gupta (IX A), Samarth Tiwari (IX A), Seep Kalra (IX A), Ashna Sehgal
(IX A), Ayaan Choudhury (IX D), Pritish Arora (IX D) and Anurag Mishra (IX F).
It is a matter of immense pride that 24 students of DPS Dwarka were selected to
participate in School Games Federation of India (SGFI), National Federation
Championship and National CBSE Tournaments.
Shahin Anjum of Class X C received the Girl Child Scholarship worth `5000 from
Science Olympiad Foundation.
Nawal Nikkunj of Class VI A won Consolation Prize in the Art Zone of Painting
Category organized by HT PACE on 11 December 2019.

GOING BEYOND TEXTBOOKS
A workshop on „Anger and Stress Management‟ was organized for the students of
Class VI on 04 April 2019. The resource person was Ms. Vandana Tandon from the
Times of India, NIE.
A „Robotics Workshop‟ was conducted for the students of Class VI by the members of
Robodex – The Robotics Club on 16 April 2019.
A workshop „Words Worth‟ highlighting the power of words was organized for the
students of Classes VI & VII on 13 May 2019. The resource person was Ms. Monika
Solanki from the Times of India, NIE.
A workshop on „SAT – Education Abroad‟ was organized for the students of Classes
IX–XI on 16 May 2019. Representatives from Jamboree Education Pvt. Ltd.
conducted an informative session for the students wherein they guided them about
international exams such GRE, GMAT, SAT and TOEFL/IELTS.
A workshop on „Careers after Class XII – A Broad Overview‟ was organized for the
students of Class XI on 16 May 2019. Mr. Anubhav Rakheja from Career Launcher
conducted an informative session for the students highlighting various academic and
professional courses available in India. He motivated the students to take a head start in
terms of planning their careers and building their profiles.
A workshop on „Goal Setting‟ was organized for the students of Classes IX & XI on 03
July 2019. The resource person was Ms. Madhvi Sarwate from the Times of India,
NIE.
A workshop on „Experiential Learning of Physics‟ was conducted by Anveshika – an
initiative of Indian Association of Physical Teachers (IAPT) on 18 July 2019 for the
students of Class VIII. Resource persons Ms. Pragya Nopany and Shalini Bhardwaj
demonstrated various activities to explain the concepts of force, pressure and optics.
German learning students of Class X attended a workshop „Go to Goethe‟ at Max

A workshop on „Admission in Delhi University‟ was conducted for the students of Class
XI on 30 July 2019 by representatives from PRATHAM. They informed the students
about various courses available in DU after Class XII for students of all streams.
A workshop on „Company Secretaries‟ was conducted for the students of Class XI
Commerce and Humanities stream on 30 July 2019. Students were informed about the
scope of CS and its admission criteria.
A workshop on „Law as a Career – Current Trend‟ was conducted for the students of
Classes XI & XII Commerce and Humanities stream on 31 July 2019. Mr. Anubhav
Rakheja from Career Launcher briefed the students about the criteria for seeking
admission in various law courses. He also highlighted the career avenues for law students
in corporate sector, social media, civil services and armed forces.
To sensitize children about the need for proper sanitation, a visit to Sulabh International
Museum of Toilets was organized for the students of Class IV on 30 August 2019.
Through this visit, students gained an opportunity to observe a rare collection of facts,
pictures and objects detailing the historic evolution of toilets from 2500 BC to date,
including a display of the sewerage system of the Harappan Civilization. Students were
also made aware of the developments related to technology, toilet related social customs,
toilet etiquette and the prevailing sanitary conditions of different times.
A visit to the Rail Museum was organised for the students of Class I on 10 October
2019. Students had an opportunity to witness exotic and wide collection of antique
locomotives, artifacts, signaling equipment and vintage trains. Children gained
knowledge about Indian railway uniforms, the different varieties of trains and the history
behind them. The day ended with a joyous ride in the toy train around the museum, that
fascinated the kids and left them high spirited.
A workshop on Effective Communication was conducted by NIE for Classes III & IV
on 14 October 2019. Mr. Lucky Puchhrat, the resource person emphasized that it is
imperative for students to listen to their teachers intently in the class and understand their
ideas. Examples and anecdotes from the lives of famous personalities like Mahatama
Gandhi, Virat Kohli, Satya Nadella were quoted and discussed to inspire the children so
that they become good communicators.
An educational visit was organised for students of Class III to the National War
Memorial, India Gate on 18 October 2019. The aim of this visit was to facilitate
students to learn about India‟s freedom fighters, who had fought bravely in various
battles across the nation. Through this visit, students came to understand about the
ultimate sacrifice of our „heroes‟ with the goal of protecting their motherland.
Students of Classes VII & VIII went on an educational trip to Gandhi Smriti on
22 October & 26 November 2019 respectively. The students saw the way Gandhiji lived
in simplicity. They also witnessed the spot where he was shot. The multi-media room that
showcases Gandhiji‟s ideals in an interactive way was highly appreciated by the students.
To sensitize our students towards the people in the ripe years of their lives and to impart
the value of respecting senior citizens, The Social Initiative Club organized a visit to
Godhuli - An Old Age Home on 23 October 2019 for the students of Classes III to V.
The students presented a poem and interacted with the elderly. They listened
enthusiastically to their words of wisdom. They also presented handmade greetings cards
to them. Having internalized the concept of respecting and spending quality time with the
elderly especially one‟s grandparents, the children happily bid goodbyes to the residents
of Godhuli.
A workshop on Accountancy Class XII Syllabus was organized for the students of
Class XII, Commerce stream on 11 November 2019. Resource person Mr. Vikas Vijay
apprised the children with the new pattern of the paper and recapitulated important
concepts.
A workshop on Business Studies Class XII Syllabus was organized for the students of
Class XII, Commerce stream on 18 November 2019. Resource person Mr. G.S. Alag
apprised the children with the new pattern of the paper and taught them how to
understand case studies with the help of key words.
Annual picnic was organized for the students of Classes Pre-School to II on
04 December 2019. Set amidst the tranquil surroundings of Comrade Base Camp,
Kundli, various adventurous activities were planned for the young enthusiasts. Beam
balancing, zip line, tug of war, commando crawl, burma bridge etc. were the centre of
attraction for the students. Tractor ride and pottery truly enhanced the experience of rural
adventure.

Ms. Parul Relhan attended a workshop „Treffpunkt Deutsch‟ held at Goethe Institut,
Max Mueller Bhavan on 15 April 2019. The aim of the workshop was to help the
teachers understand the usage of New German Textbook for Class X.
Ms. J. Monika Sharma attended the CBSE workshop for Japanese Language Teachers
held at Japan Foundation on 10 May 2019.
Ms. Richa Prakash attended a workshop on „Developing Reading Comprehension
Skills and Creative Skills in Literature and Poetry‟ at Springdales School, Pusa Road
on 17 May 2019.
Ms. Ruchika Jain attended a workshop on „Artificial Intelligence‟ at CBSE, 17, Rouse
Avenue, Institutional Area, New Delhi from 18–20 June 2019.
Dr. Subhash Singh Tomar attended a Conference on „Sports without Borders‟
organized by East West Links Beograd at CSOI, Chanakya Puri on 21 July 2019.
Ms. Rashmi Batra attended a workshop on „Rejuvenating Social Science Learning
in Middle School by Adopting Integrated Approach‟ organized by DPS Society
at HRD Centre, Lodhi Road on 07 August 2019.
