This diagram is draft and came as a result of pulling together data from our admin retreat last year; from conversations, from research. The intent of this model is that it guide our work over the next 3-5 years. It will help us move our mission and vision forward. Our next steps are to gather more feedback and adjust this model to reflect our beliefs about what is important in our classrooms. Well do this by going to the teachers matter group; AISI group; special ed liaision group and to YOU. What we have heard over the last 2-3 years is that there is too much. You are being bombarded by new initiatives and multiple expectations. The intent of this work is to clarify what is at the core of quality teaching and learning.

I know many of you have begun or are starting to do this for yourselves focus on teaching and learning in the classroom; identify what is important for you and your schools. This should dovetail with your work.Quality Learning Environment: QLE
