“New Year! New Decade! New Events!”
We have a great line up of fun times for Encore
this year! Every first Tuesday Night is Movie
Night in the Encore Lounge. We’ll be showing
inspirational and true life movies to encourage
and embolden us. We’ll have popcorn, candy,
and drinks. If you haven’t had time for supper, feel free to bring a hamburger or
hotdog with you. This is a relaxed time – bring a blanket, snuggle socks – wear your
pj’s and house robe if you like! Then, every second Tuesday afternoon at 1:00, the
Encore Lounge is open for Game Time. We have a variety of games in the Encore
Lounge, or you are welcome to bring your own. Of course, there’s always a chat area
if you would just like to visit with everyone. We’ll close the doors when everyone is
ready to leave.
Of course, we still have our Third Monday Theme Nights! This year we’ll have a
Murder Mystery Night, Oldies Night, Encore Bible Wheel Game Night and other great
themes! In September, Encore’s Arts, Crafts, & Cook-Off Show is back! Please make
May and they’re all fabulous: The East Texas Gem and Mineral Show in
January, the new Institute for Creation Research Museum/Dallas in
February, the Brook Hill War Museum in March, Johnson Space Center in
April, and the Rangers vs Boston game in the new Ranger Stadium in May!
So gear up for a great year of Encore! You can find our new 2020 program
cards in the information suite along with our monthly newsletters that give
you up-to-date information and sign-up sheets for the various trips. You’re
welcome in the Encore Office and Lounge on the 346 entrance any time!
plans to participate by bringing your creations of
fine arts, wonderful crafts, canning, and creative
dishes of food! This year we are featuring a pie
contest, a cornbread contest, and a soup contest.
It’s all about having a great time enjoying each
other’s talents and creations. As always, your art
and craft projects do not have to be created this
year. Bring anything you’ve made for all to enjoy!
We’ve planned the first five trips for January –

We’ll leave at 8:00a, have an early lunch, explore the museum, eat supper, and plan to be back by 9:00 p.m. It will be a full and great day!!
“Nutrient 8”
Cancer Destroyer!
Nobel Prize winner, Linus Pauling, first proposed using vitamin C to treat cancer decades ago. People called him a quack at the time – but now we know he had discovered something revolutionary. He understood at high enough doses, vitamin C produces hydrogen peroxide in our bodies – and that is toxic to cancer cells. Researchers have proven that Intravenous Vitamin C (IVC) actually attacks cancer through eight different pathways – why some call it “Nutrient 8.” Mainstream doctors and drug companies did everything to convince the public that Pauling was wrong… and crazy. But we know now that he was absolutely right. Numerous studies have proven the cancer-killing ability of IVC, and it’s used by alternative health doctors all across the country. Sample cases: 1) 51-yr-old woman with metastatic kidney cancer opted for IVC. With 7 months of twice weekly infusions, her tumors shrank so dramatically they were practically invisible on film! 2) A man with bladder cancer that was already spreading started getting IVC. He was completely cured – and when researchers checked with him 9 years later, he was still in fantastic health. IVC can even kill colorectal cancer cells with a genetic mutation that makes them hard to treat! Chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation are massive, multi-billion dollar industries, so many patients are never given the option of IVC. If you want to give IVC a try, your best bet is to call alternative doctors. If you’re currently undergoing chemo, IVC has also been found to decrease side effects like fatigue and nausea. Any doctor can order IVC, so talk to your doc about incorporating it into your treatment.
