This is the main page for all things New York Cares Day Spring. From this page, you can

learn about the event, search for team pages, and register for the day.

you to search for

team and personal

fundraising pages!

Managing Your Team

To manage your team through the New York Cares website, the best

place to start is from your Upcoming Projects Page.

Click “New York Cares Day

Spring 2016” to go to the Event

Detail Page.

You can only

access your

Upcoming

Projects Page

if you are

logged in to the

website.

Once your site has

been confirmed on April

5th, this title will change

to reflect your assigned

park for the day.

From the Event Detail Page, you can learn more about the day

and access some key tools.

Team Fundraising Page

Track the progress of your

team’s fundraising goal and

direct team members to join

your team.

Personal Fundraising

Page

Share your personal page

publically to help meet your

fundraising goal and secure

important funds for the day.

Manage Project

See your volunteer roster

and share important

information with your team

through personalized

emails.

From the Manage Project Page, you can send emails to your

team members. This page is only visible to Team Leaders.

Email all of your team

members at once or

reach out to a select

group. Email your team

members important

information about plans

for the day, site location

and fundraising

strategies.

From your Team Fundraising Page, you can track your team’s

progress and direct volunteers to register.

Visit your team members’ Personal

Fundraising Pages.

Direct your Team Members to sign

up here. Please note, volunteers

must be logged-in to register.

Track the progress of your Team’s

Fundraising Goal. Use this as

inspiration to keep fundraising

going.

Directing Your Team Members to Register Online

It is important that your team members register online before April 11th.

Feel free to use the following language to help your team register.

How to Join [Insert your Team Name]

1. Start by visiting the New York Cares Day Spring webpage

a) If you are a returning volunteer, click the login button and sign into your account. (Not sure of your password? Reset it here)

b) If you are a new volunteer, click the Register Now button to create an account.

2. After logging in, select “Sign Up” and then “Join a Team.”

3. Search for and select [Insert your Team Name] from the list of teams.

4. Click the Sign Up button on the right hand side of our team page.

5. Agree to the waiver and set your fundraising goal.

6. Click “Submit” to register for New York Cares Day Spring.

For Team Members, between the ages of 14 and 17, please

review the Youth Volunteer Policy for registration information.

New Volunteers

Volunteers who are participating in their first project with New York Cares will

need to create a special New York Cares Day account here. They will only be

prompted to enter account login and contact information. Please note:

Volunteers for New York Cares Day Spring do not need to attend an orientation.
