- Anders Lee is in his third season as Islanders captain. Since 2013-14, Lee ranks 7th among American-born players in career goals (182) and

- Brock Nelson is in his eighth season in the NHL. He led the Islanders in goals in both the 2019-20 regular season (26) and post-season (9, tied).
Nelson took (1,188) and won (615) more faceoffs than anyone on the Islanders last season and finished above 50% (51.77%) in the face-off dot for the
first time in his career.
- Cal Clutterbuck is the NHL’s active leader in career hits (3,208). Clutterbuck, 33, skated in his 800th NHL game on Nov. 2, 2019 becoming the 11th
player from his draft class to reach that milestone and just the second player drafted outside the first round.
- Matt Martin became the fifth active player to reach 3,000 career hits (one of whom is Cal Clutterbuck). Since making his NHL debut in the 2009-10
season, Martin leads the NHL in hits (3,066).
- Andy Greene is 43 games shy of reaching the 1,000 game milestone. He currently leads all active NHL undrafted players with 957 games played.
- Noah Dobson is the youngest player on the Islanders 23-man roster for the second straight season. He is one of just eight defensemen from the 2018
