TEAM NOTES

Hot Streak: The Islanders are 5-1-0 in their last six games and 12-4-1 in their last 17 games. Their 31 wins this season ties a franchise record for most

are at the Coliseum.

Sellouts: The Isles are 9-2-0 in 11 home sellouts this season. Prior to tonight's game, they'd sold-out five straight home games and seven of the last

2010-11: 4 sellouts

Rookie Scorer: Anders Lee is on a five-game point streak (4g/1a) and has eight goals in the last 15 games. It's the longest streak of his career and the

longest individual point streak of any Islander this season. Lee is tied for third in goals among NHL rookies with 13, just two shy of the lead. His five

game-winning goals lead all first-year players and rank second overall in the NHL.

Okposo Injured: The Islanders announced Monday that Kyle Okposo is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with an upper-body injury. Prior to the injury,

Okposo's 44 points (14g/30a) ranked second on the Islanders and tied for 13th in the NHL. He had seven points (5g/2a) in his last three games played.

All-Star Weekend: Jaroslav Halak and John Tavares represented the New York Islanders at 2015 NHL All-Star Weekend at Nationwide Arena in

Columbus, Ohio. It was Halak's first NHL All-Star appearance and Tavares's second. Tavares became the sixth player in league history to score four

goals in an All-Star Game, tying the record [Dany Heatley (2003), Wayne Gretzky (1983), Mario Lemieux (1990), Vincent Damphousse (1991) and Mike

Gartner (1993)].

5-in-5: Nikolay Kulemin has five goals in his last five games. His 11 goals this season are the most he's scored since 2011-11, when he posted 30

seven wins shy of the Islanders record for wins in a season (32), shared by Billy Smith, Chris Osgood and Rick DiPietro.

Shots Against: The Islanders have out-shot 16 of their last 17 opponents, posting at least 10 more shots than 12 of those 17 opponents.

Second Goal: The Islanders are 12-0-0 when they allow the opening goal but score the second goal.

Healthy D: Johnny Boychuk and Travis Hamonic have each missed 10 games due to injury this season. The Islanders are 23-8-1 when both are in the

lineup and 8-6-0 when at least one is missing.

One-Goal Games: The Islanders are 18-3-1 in games decided by a single goal, including 7-3 in regulation. The Islanders are 11-1 in games that have

gone beyond regulation and 6-1 in the shootout. Prior to their first shootout loss of the season on Dec. 27, the Islanders had set a franchise record by

winning eight consecutive shootouts (dating back to 2013-14).

Back-To-Backs: The Islanders have played eight sets of back-to-back games this season. They've gone 7-1-0 in the first game and 6-2-0 in the second

game of back-to-back's thus far. The Islanders will total 16 sets of back-to-back games in 2014-15.

Under Capuano:  The Islanders are 149-134-39 under Head Coach Jack Capuano. He ranks second on the Islanders all-time list in both games

coached (323) and wins (15), behind Al Arbour (1,500 coached, 740 wins).
