The day began at 10 am with an International Leadership Conference introducing the “Life and Works” of Dr. Sun Myung Moon, including his newly published autobiography (inset).

Meanwhile, a huge crowd starts to line up along 34th Street for the main program, braving one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures reaching nearly 100o F (38o C) in high humidity.

In his keynote address Father Moon said that at long last humanity will live in the direct dominion of God’s eternal love, and challenged all to work with him for a world of peace.
