Hospital Seeks Supervisor Corinth—The Corinth Hospital Board of Directors have announced that applications for a supervisor of nurses for the Corinth Hospital will be received for consideration. Corinth — The children's Christ- mas party held in the Commissary and sponsored jointly by the EMBA and the Corinth Youth Commission was a big success. There were no vacant seats and children and their parents and guardians lined both sides and back of the large hall. Ray La Farr and his little troupers gave a delightful pro- gram, which both young and old enjoyed. Joyce Coveleski tapped to the tune of Jingle Bells. Kay Van- Main Street School Pupils Give Program Corinth—Pupils of the first and second grades in the Main Street School assembled Tuesday morning for a Christmas entertainment Hhe following program was presented: Piano solo, Alice Schwab; duet, Silent Night, Donna and Sandra Howard; Away in a Manger, sung by Joseph Grady, Patricia Kendall, Patricia Labreck, Judy Washburn, JoAn Di Lorenzo, Donna Sue Jenks, Jack Woods, Linda Lee Benton, Patricia Fasulo, Ann Louise Wallace and Donald Chap- man. Hobby Horse Rhythm, Jane Palmer, Diane Graham, Ann Louise Wallace, John Hogan, Edmund Ovitt. Alice Schwab, Geneva Ralph and Susan Pitkin. Group singing, Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Up on the Housetop and Merry Christmas. Christmas parties in each room and the distribution of gifts fol- lowed the program. OBITUARY derwerker followed with an ac- cordian solo which brought rounds of applause. Lorraine Terrlo's Sere- nade of the Bells was well re- ceived. Barney Hart, another ac- cordian virtuoso, played among other numbers. Silent Night and the Bells of St. Mary. Later in the program, he and Miss Vanderwer- ker gave a duet on their Junior accordians. Billy Donohue was excellent in his singing of White Christmas and Winter Wonderland. I f Corinth Branch of The Saratogian Office k tM<^ tmi^t ISUI^ ft Mrs. Emma B. Beecher Cojinth—Mrs. Emma B. Beecher died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Victor A. Parmenter, Main Street, Cor- inth. Mrs. Beecher had been in ill health for the last two months. Though she had lived in Atlanta most of her life, she spent the last 20 years in Corinth with her daughter. Mrs. Beecher was an ac- tive member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving, in addition to M*s. Parmenter, are another daughter, Mrs. A. H. Colson, of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Don L. Beecher, Livonia, and Dana Beecher, Binghamton; one brother, Luther H. Johnson, Seattle, Wash., and seven grand- children and Ave great-grandchil- dren. The body has been removed to the Densmore Funeral home and will be sent to Atlanta for funeral services which will be held Friday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Charles J. Wood, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating.
