Greeting you this morning are Lauraine and Bill Skitch. Lauraine is a member of the U.C.W. and Bill is chair of Mission & Service and Ministry & Personnel.

Nursery care is provided for little ones to age 4 years from 10:20AM until the end of the worship service. The nursery is located in the hall, through the doors on either side of the choir loft. Paige is our care provider.

Our BIBLOS reader is Nate Blesse, member of the re:form! Bible study group.

Our thanks to Hope Pascoe for sharing her experiences from her participation in the Bay of Quinte Conference mission trip to El Salvador.

Faith In MotionOur young people will remain in church to learn about Hope’s trip.

From the Stewards To April 30, a total of $8369.75 has been raised for the Furnace & Air Conditioning Fund! This represents

94.3% of the cost of the furnaces. We don’t have a firm cost for the air conditioning yet.Average weekly envelope givings to April 30: $2132.07. 2017 budget averaged weekly $3243.96.Loonie/Twonie Jar – is back! The Stewards encourage everyone to drop their loonies and/or twonies into the jar to help defray the cost of the sanctuary furnaces and air conditioning. Thank you!

Monday, May 8 – the U.C.W. meets at 7PM (note time) in the church hall. All ladies are invited for a time of food and fellowship. Bring a friend!

Bible Study – Wednesday, May 10 at 9:30AM in the hall meeting room. All who are interested are invited to come.

Choir practice is Thursday, May 11 from 7-9PM.

Friendship Connection Ladies’ Luncheon –Wednesday, May 17 - 11:30AM at Castle John’s here in Newcastle. Sign-up sheets are posted in the narthex and hall.

Euchre Night – the Stewards host this night on Friday, May 12 at 7PM; doors open at 6:45PM. $5/person – all are invited.

Next Sunday, May 14 – Mother’s Day. Bennett’s twin brothers are baptised.

Board Game Night – Friday, May 19 from 7-9PM, hosted by Faith In Motion. Munchies

provided! Everyone is welcome.

Tuesday, May 23 – Gospel Plus meets in the hall from 7-9PM. Please speak with Lloyd Johnson for more information.

Friday, May 26 – the Stewards host Euchre Night at 7PM in the hall.
