You have certain recourse rights if any debit does not comply with this agreement. For example, you have the right to receive reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is not consistent with this Automatic Payment Plan Agreement. To obtain more information on your recourse rights, contact your financial institution or visit www.payments.ca.

You may cancel your Automatic Payment Plan any time subject to providing notice to Newfoundland Power at least 10 business days before your next scheduled payment date. To cancel contact Newfoundland Power by email at [email protected], online at www.newfoundlandpower.com, by telephone at 1-800-663-2802 or in writing by registered mail. To obtain a sample cancellation form or for more information on your right to cancel an Automatic Payment Plan Agreement, contact your financial institution or visit www.payments.ca.

NOTE: You are entitled to 10 days' notice of withdrawal of funds from your account. Your monthly bill provides that notice. If you receive your bill by mail, you agree to waive the 10-day notice requirement in the event of a postal services disruption that prevents Newfoundland Power from delivering your bill by mail.
