Heat Exchanger / Coil

Windmason uses chilled water coils, direct expansion coils, hot water and steam coils as per ARI standards. All coils deliver optimum efficiency of heat transfer. Alu and Cu tubes, 12-13 FPI and fins as per project requirements. Pressure tested 300 psi air pressure under water.with SS drain pan.

Blower Motors

Blower motors are regular induction motors class F insulation -10 to 50C ambient, 1725 RPM, 3phase, IE2. International standard BLDC Motors can be used on customer’s demand. All motors are SASO approved Laboratory tested. Motors are sized with safety factors & mounted with vibration eliminators for longer life.

VFD Variable Frequency Drives (DC Inverters)

VFD - Variable frequency drives are used to vary the speed of the motor which drive the blower fan. the variable speed fan can increase or reduce the air flow as required. It can also protect motor from phase failure burn & overload burn. It provides soft start which increases the life of blower assembly. The drives used are easy to configure and work in tough weather conditions. It can be controlled by other external sensing circuits which sense the demand load, temperature & pressure.

Electric Heater

Windmason’s AHUs are equipped with high quality and safe electric heater as per customer’s requirement & consulting engineer’s design. All electric heaters are standalone type with fusible link, with heavy gauge corrosion resistance steel frame & terminal box. The heating wire is composite material of nickel and chrome.

Air Control Dampers

Low air leakage, smooth blades air modulating dampers are used to control the air flow as per application requirements. It can be manual/motorized. Multi bladed and single bladed with nylon self-lubricated bushes and galvanized steel brackets and frame. It can be provided in stainless steel blades on demand and with a flange for duct connections.

Energy Recovery and Fresh air pre cooling

Air is cooled by air to air or air to water heat exchanger before it entering the chilled water or DX cooling coil, which reduce the cooling load and saves more than 50% energy.The air is cooled by water evaporation or with energy of the exhausted air which is recovered by heat exchangers. Energy recovery wheel, plate heat exchanger, fin and tube coil are used for air pre-cooling.

Air Humidification

The AHUs can be equipped with air humidifiers which can sense the air and control the humidity as per application’s requirement. Steam, water evaporation or water spray method is used to control the humidity of the air.

AHU Control panels

MCC panels are supplied to control the air handling units with fixed and variable speed drive to meet the cooling, heating and humidification require-ments of the building. Which saves the energy and modulate the air flow as required provide signals and input/output for the BMS system & motor safety.
