February 2012 Dear Friends, The year 2012 promises to be a great one for our group. It is an anniversary year for us, as we are celebrating the founding of the company by Gérard Rodriguez, 40 years ago now. It is a year that will see our services stepped up, with the highlight being the creation of a new branch of our ship chandlery, “Le Yacht L’Annexe”, located at the shipyard. Services that constitute time and again unrivalled added-value, like our Showroom, managed by Sandrine Fekhart, a profile of which you will discover in this issue of the newsletter. This golfer, amateur Champion of France recently turned professional, won us over with his values and driving passion. Dear Friends,

The year 2012 promises to be a great one for our group. It is an anniversary year for us, as we are celebrating the founding of the company by Gérard Rodriguez, 40 years ago now.

It is a year that will see our services stepped up, with the highlight being the creation of a new branch of our ship chandlery, “Le Yacht L’Annexe”, located at the shipyard.

Services that constitute time and again unrivalled added-value, like our Showroom, managed by Sandrine Fekhart, a profile of which you will discover in this issue of the newsletter.

FOCUS ON THE MIAMI BOAT SHOW. The doors to the 24th Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach will be open from february 16th to 20th. Over a five-day period the event will transform Miami Beach’s Collins Avenue into a marina several kilometres long, where you will be able to visit more than 1,000 yachts and superyachts. The show exhibitors will be coming from the four corners of the globe.

For the occasion, Rodriguez Group will be showing across the Atlantic the Italyachts 43M Makira. You will also be able to discover (or rediscover) the 40 Alloy, the only new yacht in its category available for the season. And for the first time at our stand, in partnership with Camper & Nicholsons, will be the new Wider 150’.

As for Camper & Nicholsons, they will be exhibiting a variety of vessels, such as the 58M Baraka, the 35M Far Niente, the 34M Symphony, the 34M Hide Out, and the 23.5M Happy Fish. You can find them all at www.camperandnicholsons.com.

A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AMATEUR GOLF CHAMPIONOF FRANCE: JÉRÔME LANDO CASANOVA.

Excellence is the watchword of Jérôme Lando Casanova’s line of action. At 26 years old this golfer from the town of Bastia, turned professional a few months ago, is passionate about his sport. Yet he started late, at 19. It took him just six years, after his first swing, to become the amateur Champion of France.This is quite a feat, but a feat that makes sense when you know Jérôme’s temperament: “A very hard worker who keeps his head on his shoulders” according to his physical trainer.

An exceptional career, a commitment to his sport at all times, genuine qualities-both as a sportsman and as a person-these are the values that struck the Rodriguez Group. The Group and the young golfer made their partnership official in february 2012: major support for Jérôme as he heads for Morocco to begin his first season as a professional golfer.

Everyone in the Rodriguez Group wishes him the best of luck in this new adventure.

40 YEARS ALREADY...AND STILL JUST AS PASSIONATE. When it was founded by Gérard Rodriguez in 1972, the Group was something of a trailblazer in the sale and building of yachts. By offering quality products not previously seen that introduced a real modern touch, the Service Navigation de Plaisance (SNP) revolutionized the codes of luxury yachting.By anticipating customer demands through unique product lines, boats that were ever faster, more stylish and increasingly more luxurious, SNP forged a clientele with high standards and made its on mark on a new era in yachting.

“ATTUNED TO THE CUSTOMER’S SENSIBILITIES, TO OFFER THEM THE VERY BEST”, THAT’S THE MAXIM OF THE SHOWROOM

MANAGER, SANDRINE FEKHART.

Regardless the look of a yacht, its performance, or how spacious it is, the interior decoration will always constitute the final touch that makes it unique. With that in mind, the Rodriguez Group created the ‘Showroom’ in April 1997, to offer its customers the kind of service that would meet their expectations and needs. Sandrine Fekhart, who has been in charge of the Showroom for close to ten years now, makes prestige her spearhead. As she points out: “No matter what the project, size of the boat, or its age, the owner has to feel at home on his yacht; together we find his definition of refinement, his vision elegance”. An exceptional service like this entails a certain amount of availability: sometimes if the customer is unable to come to the showroom, you

have to travel abroad. For Sandrine, she has to be attuned to the customer, because sensibility has to go beyond good taste alone: “Knowing how to listen, to understand the expectations and personality of our customer, is crucial to coming up with the best decoration possible”. The Showroom has a high level of expectation that is passionately and rigorously managed, particularly when it comes to the trademarks with which it works. Sandrine Fekhart sums it up like this: “We have to find the best products, while offering a wide selection. To do that, we work with the top brands - Hermès, Baccarat, Christofle,… - as well as ones lesser known, all of them offering quality services. And it’s that way in every sector: taps, bedding, dishes.... We work with more than 300 suppliers, reliable quality craftsmen. And to be at the cutting edge of the latest trends, we attend several international design fairs every year”.

This rigor, particularly in continuity, constitutes the added value of the Rodriguez Group Showroom. Sandrine explains it very well: “A project lasts on average nine months, and we are there at each step along the way. We check the smallest details, including the very last ones right before delivery”. This follow-up continues even after selling the boat, for an obvious reason mentioned by Sandrine: “We record the history of each yacht; it makes it possible to offer a highly responsive personalized follow-up service in the event that the customer requests changes or a fresh supply”. This professionalism is pushed to the point that the decoration of the yacht often becomes “the” reference. This is a source of pride for the Showroom team and Sandrine, who points out: “Some owners appreciate our work so much that they ask us to re-decorate their homes”.
