In our endeavour to share information / news with all at Bharat Re, we propose to circulate an

internal news bulletin. We request all the branches to participate in sharing your views,

information, news items, any issues anything that you feel can benefit the organisation and its

people.

As a first, we would like to share with you the profile of the new members, who have joined in

strengthening Team Bharat Re!!

We have with us two Technical Directors - Mr. S.Ramesh at Bangalore and Mr. R.Srinivasan at

Chennai.

Mr. S.Ramesh can be contacted atramesh@bharatre.in for technical guidance. He is anElectrical & Electronics Engineer with a vast exposure in Power and Engineering

projects. Worked with New India Assurance, J.B.Boda, Al Ahlia Insurance Co, Muscat,

TATA AIG. He will be travelling periodically to Mumbai, and Gujarat. Mr.R.Srinivasan can be contacted atsrinivasanr@bharatre.infor technical guidance. He

is a Civil Engineer with a vast exposure in Civil Projects, Chemical, Heavy Engineering,

Textiles and Liability. Worked with J.B.Boda, Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co

Ltd, TATA AIG, Comprehensive Insurance Brokers LLC, Muscat,AL Ahlia Insurance Co,

Muscat, Oriental Insurance Co. He will be travelling periodically to Delhi and Kolkotta. We have on our panel, Mr. Vaidyanathan, as an Advisor, who is an expert in ECGC. He

was formerly with ECGC in the capacity of a General Manager. He works out of Mysore.

Mr. R.Srinivasan, Technical Director, will be the nodal point to whom all the queries can

be addressed.

Mr. R. Raghunathan from the Banking industry and Mr. Avinash Bhat BE Electrical havejoined us at Mumbai in Mr. Arunachalams team in the area of Business Development.

Hardiksinh Rajput has joined us at Ahmedabad in Mr. Minesh Patels team. Mr. Abraham Joseph and Mr. Rajesh B are in Vadodara along with Ms. Minal Mishra. Mr. N.Ramprasads team comprises of

Continuous Professional Development

In our endeavor to improve the knowledge base in Bharat Re, we have restarted thelong distance education. We hope this would not be treated too long distance andthe groups identified as Group A & B will participate in good faith and fervor.

Group A is the team comprising of the new to insurance team Group B is the rest of the team players.

We had conducted the first paper on Fire for both the Groups. While the Group A had

participated, it was disheartening to find that 70% of the Group B team had not taken the

interest to attempt the paper. This is by no means a testing platform. Its just to help you be

aware of the areas that you may not have looked into and this would be a means of

strengthening and updating your knowledge for better performance, both in business

development and in servicing.

Software

The software, with or without the bugs, will have to be used by ALL the branches. We find that

no attempt has been made other than in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Vizag.

If you have something to share, please send us a mail. The news will be compiled and sent to

the branches.
