SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM’S WELCOME Another busy week and the first week of the astronomical Spring. Rehearsals are going on apace and the stage is up for the Year 3 and 4 production - the roar of the crowd and the smell of the greasepaint is palpable - we always think any play comes together at the dress rehearsal stage and by the looks of the green tights and the bows and arrows, we are in for a treat next week! Many of you have taken the time to either pop in and see me or speak to me on my travels to say something nice about Atwood, a member of staff or something that we are doing well. Obviously, this makes us all feel great and having that feedback encourages us to get better week by week. On a similar topic, it is time to hear your views as parents and carers more formally and so we are launching our Annual Survey once again. The views of parents and carers are very important to the leadership team, governors and staff of Atwood. Please see the item further on in the newsletter for details of how to share your views. SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM’S WELCOME

Another busy week and the first week of the astronomical Spring. Rehearsals are going on apace

and the stage is up for the Year 3 and 4 production - the roar of the crowd and the smell of the

greasepaint is palpable - we always think any play comes together at the dress rehearsal stage and

by the looks of the green tights and the bows and arrows, we are in for a treat next week!

Many of you have taken the time to either pop in and see me or speak to me on my travels to say

something nice about Atwood, a member of staff or something that we are doing well. Obviously,

this makes us all feel great and having that feedback encourages us to get better week by week.

On a similar topic, it is time to hear your views as parents and carers more formally and so we are

launching our Annual Survey once again. The views of parents and carers are very important to the

leadership team, governors and staff of Atwood. Please see the item further on in the newsletter

for details of how to share your views.

PARENT AND CARER SURVEY

The views of parents and carers are very important to the leadership team, governors and staff of

Atwood as we strive for excellence in pastoral care and education. Your responses will help

shape next year's school development plan and help us all to reflect upon what is going well and to

understand how things can be even better.

The Governors of Atwood invite you to complete the Annual Survey by clicking on the following

link.

https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/72f3ea53d40a48f3ad7931abf766e4e5

The survey will be live from today (Friday 22nd March until Friday 5th April) with a brief

overview made available at the start of the summer term. Thank you for your time and support in completing the Annual Survey.

SUMMER FAIR

The Friends of Atwood’s annual Summer Fair will take place on Saturday 29th June. This year sees

the addition of a stage and live performers - made possible with the provision and sponsorship of a

stage, sound equipment and technical support from NKN Productions for which we are incredibly

grateful.

The FOAP are already in the process of sourcing performers to fill our 12-3pm programme and

have already secured the appearance of 'Rock Choir' as well as a special appearance from some

popular children’s characters- please keep an eye on out Facebook page where will hold a poll for

the children to be able to choose who they would like to visit us!

If you are in or know a covers band, musician or singer and would like to showcase your/their

talent at the same time as helping the FOAP raise money to enhance the educational experience of

Atwood pupils we would love to hear from you at [email protected]
