INDUSTRIAL VISIT

Student Participation:

Students of II Year and IIIrd Year and faculties had visited to TNPL, Kagithapuram,

Karur for a day on 15.09.2018. From this visit the students have gained Knowledge in

the industrial automation of TNPL and process of paper manufacturing.

Faculty Participation

1. Dr. J. UMA, Mrs. P. Sakthi and Mrs. S. Kiruthika, had visited Yokogawa

India Private ltd, Bangalore for the duration of two days from (12.06.2018 to

13.06.2018). From this visit the faculties have gained Knowledge in the PLC and

DCS.

2. Mr. I. Aravindaguru had visited Associate Transformers Private ltd, Dindigul

for a day on (01.03.2019). From this visit the faculty has gained Knowledge in the

manufacturing of Transformers of 11kv capacity and various specifications.

3. Mrs. P. Yuvarani, Ms. R. Gowthami had visited Associate Transformers

Private ltd, Dindigul for a day on (27.03.2019). From this visit the faculties have

gained Knowledge in the manufacturing of Transformers of 11kv capacity and

various specifications.

4. Ms. S. Monisa had visited Atomberg Technologies Pvt ltd, Chennai for a day on

(15.02.2019)

Our students (Mr. S. Jeyaram kumar, Mr. R. Raghul, Mr. D. Sabarish, Mr. M.V. Sandoz)

project titled “RECYCLING OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE WATER USING NANO

GRAPHENE OXIDE FILTERS” has been selected for TNSCST student project 2018

EIE Department had offered value added course on Experimental Teaching and

Learning in LabVIEW for five days duration (28.11.2018 – 02.12.2018) Mrs.S.
