Celebrate Independence Day with a

trip to LeMars on July 9th

to see the talented Brown Family!

We have reservations to meet the family for a personal talk and tour, followed by

a summer BBQ luncheon. Then sit back and enjoy the lively show “Let Freedom

Ring!” After the show, we will make a stop for ice cream at the Wells Blue Bunny

Store. Be sure to sign up early for this one, and plan to wear your Red, White &

Blue!

Mystic, Music & Mystery

September18-20—Two nights at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel,

“Newsies” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, and a Mystery

Trip Day are a few of the highlights of this three-day motor

coach trip. Cost is $395 per person for double room occupancy. This trip in-

cludes comfortable motor coach transportation, driver’s tip, two nights lodging

at Mystic Lake Hotel/Casino, $20 in Mystic cash, two break-

Upcoming Emerald Club Events

The Ark Encounter, May 7-12—We have a

full motor coach heading to Kentucky. This

trip will feature visits to two of America’s

newest museums: The Creation Museum and

the Ark Encounter.

Florida Adventure Travel Shows—May 22nd—

We will be hosting travel shows to give you

an opportunity to learn about a 9 day holiday

to Florida. It features St Augustine, Orlando

and Indian Rocks Beach. This incredible trip

is taking place January 26-February 3, 2019. We will have a rep-

resentative from Mayflower Cruises & Tours that will share with

you the highlights and answer any questions you may have. You

are under no obligation to the trip by attending this information-

al meeting.

Container Gardening Class on May 23– Join

Tammy for a container gardening class on May

23rd at 4-Evergreen Landscape and Design in

Milford. The cost is $45, which includes the cost

of materials. You are welcome to bring your own container, or

will have pots for you to choose from. You will leave with a

beautiful container garden that you created yourself. The 4-

Evergreen is located at 21457 214th Circle Ave

(West on 6th St, and then South on 215th Ave).

Okoboji Summer Theater Friday, August 10– Meet Tammy at the Theater for a 4:30 matinee

performance of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” followed by dinner

at Minerva’s! Cost is $45 which includes your theatre ticket, din-

ner, gratuity and beverage off at a special menu created just for

us! Door’s will open at 4:00 and I will meet you out front to dis-

tribute your tickets. RSVP and submit payment to Tammy by August 3.

Canadian Rockies, August 24-31, 2018 This shared trip is escorted

by Prime Bank. Jasper and Banff National Park, Maligne Lake

Cruise, Scenic Icefields Parkway and Sulphur Mountain Gondola

Branson, November 5-9, 2018 This shared trip is escorted by Cen-

tral Bank. We have a fun-filled five day motor coach tour planned

that is sure to get you into the Holiday Spirit. We have scheduled

five great shows, a visit to a local winery and some fun stops along

the way! This trip is filling up fast, so reserve your spot today!

TOUR PRICE IS $895 per person/ double occupancy—Add $250 to the double rate for single

supplement for hotel rooms. PRICE INCLUDES: Round-Trip motor coach transportation, fully

escorted by Custom Tours and hosted by the Emerald Club. Four nights of lodging, including

all taxes and baggage handling. five great Branson shows, twelve meals, all listed touring

and stops . End of tour gratuities for driver and escort are also included in the tour cost.

Let’s meet for coffee, compliments of Central Bank. This will be a casual meeting of new and

existing friends. It will be a great opportunity to get to know each other better .

We will meet on alternate Thursdays at 10:00 to begin with and see how it goes! Our dates

for May and June are as follows: May 10th & 24th, June 7th & 21st .

You can look forward to occasional guest speakers, but typically it will just be coffee and con-

versation. RSVP to Tammy at 712-336-4100 so I can plan accordingly!
