Wild & Wonderful In Ahmedabad

Online Exhibition Hosted By LLL

We were very pleased to be able to launch our first virtual

exhibition at the library on Wednesday 3rd of June. There

was a great “crowd” at the opening and thank you to those

of you who joined us. The exhibition remains open until 15th

June and we welcome you to come any time. We would be

very happy to receive your feedback. This is an exciting

engagement with new technology for us which we will be

developing with each exhibition. We have been working on

bringing Art into the Library for some time. Look out for

more of these shows in the future.

We are most grateful to Amitbhai Ambalal who has so

generously shared his collection of recent sketches and

collages that he has been working on during this time of

isolation. Luckily for him his Ahmedabad studio is in a

garden where he can engage with nature and be inspired

by the animals who visit and by those that he remembers.

We hope this work will inspire you to look at the world round

you with new and curious eyes. His collages are particularly

refreshing in their use of discarded art work and the

resulting layering of images.

It is a great experience to look at Art

virtually. Thanks for this experience
