They are based out of Alexandria, VA. The online store should be available for our members by the first part of June at which time orders can then be placed. Officer pins should be available immediately once the online store is available. PromoCorp will not be able to take orders until the online store is up and running. Due to the contractual obligations and the transition from Russell-Hampton to PromoCorp, officer installation pins may not be available until after some annual meetings have taken place and we apologize for this inconvenience. This occurred because we have been reducing the inventory on hand at Russell-Hampton at the same time we are developing our new arrangement with PromoCorp. This has caused an interruption in our ability to provide some items during this transition as those items are exhausted from Russell- Hampton’s inventory. PromoCorp will require upfront payment for purchased items (either by check or credit card), so PO’s or COD’s will not be accepted. Look for notice of the grand launch of the new IAAP online store in June. As was the case with Russell-Hampton, as soon as the online store is launched, PromoCorp will become the official IAAP Emblematic Merchandise Supplier and all Divisions/Chapters are urged to utilize their services. Ten Mistakes Meeting Leaders Make Ten common mistakes that meeting leaders make and meeting attendees often accept without question during the meeting are: 1. The meeting leader does not understand the role of facilitator. 2. The recorder role is under appreciated. 3. The leader does not have a written agenda. 4. If they have an agenda, they allow random changes. 5. The agenda does not have times assigned to each topic. 6. Records of meeting are not visible during meeting. 7. Records of meeting are not distributed afterwards. 8. Actions are not recorded during meeting. 9. Actions are not assigned to people before meeting ends. 10. Deadlines are not assigned to actions.
