Welcome back to Term 2

It has been an interesting start to Term 2 for everyone. It has been fantastic to see 85% of our students returning to school this week. Thanks to our families for your support with pick up and drop off changes to reduce traffic issues as well as large adult gatherings around the school.

To support families choosing to have their children learning from home, staff have developed learning packs for students that complement the online learning on Seesaw. These are available for pick up from the office if you haven’t picked them up already.

If your child is not attending school face to face, your child needs to be completing the online learning through Seesaw or the work in the packs provided. Please return work packs for each week when they are finished, to the front office for marking. Please contact the school if you are having problems with accessing the work. Classroom teachers will be touching base with families every day or so to check in via email, phone call or webex. If your child is not completing work provided by the school, your child will be marked as an unexplained absence. Please contact the school to discuss this further. As you are aware, the government is planning to relax some of the conditions around COVID-19 restrictions. We will keep parents informed as to how this affects schools.

Many thanks for your ongoing support.
