JANUARY 4, 2013 THE WOODLANDS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 5800 ACADEMY WAY . THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS 77384 . 936-273-2555 . WWW.TWCA.NET Head Of School Notes -- by Julie Ambler Welcome back and happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed a blessed and restful Christmas holiday. On behalf of our faculty and staff, thank you for your generous donations to Worthy Servants. At our annual Christmas luncheon, held this year at the Dosey Doe Music Cafe, I was able to present each of our full-time employees with a generous check for $509! Part-time employees received $254. (Both amounts are net pay.) We appreciate your gifts and feel so blessed to partner with you in the education of your wonderful children. Enrollment contracts for the 2013-2014 school year are now in the mail. We sincerely desire to serve your family again next year. The admissions office is enjoying a steady stream of inquiries and in order to reserve a spot and take advantage of lower tuition rates, please return your contracts by January 23rd. If you have any questions about your contracts, please contact Kathy Montes ([email protected] ). For questions regarding enrollment please contact D’Anne Surber ([email protected] ). We look forward to an evening of fellowship with you at our Enrollment Celebration on January 23rd where we will gather for pizza and fellowship as we thank God for His many blessings upon our school. May God bless your family abundantly during 2013 for your commitment to Him and your gift of a Christian college-preparatory education to your children. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. The Secret of Snowflake County

Under the direction of Mrs. Nancy Casey, lower school students entertained a full house in the high school ministry building at Woodlands Church with the musical production, The Secret of Snowflake County. The story takes place in Snowflake County where Christmas celebrations have become so over the top that they threaten to overshadow the real reason for Christmas. After a series of crazy mishaps, the townspeople finally stop and realize that Christmas isn’t about how brightly the lights shine, it’s about Jesus! The audience enjoyed performances by students in PreK-4 through 5th grade. Congratulations to the Lower School Music Department on another fantastic production and many thanks to all those who put in so many hours to make The Secret of Snowflake County such a tremendous success!
