INPUT OF ELEMENTS

JOB PREFERENCES Apply Time Suggestions can now be found in JOB PREFERENCES instead of SYSTEM PREFERENCES.

The third dialogue of the JOB PREFERENCES contains the new option. Standard System for Input of Elements suggests the system automatically when creating a new position.

You can now select glass and panel preferences in the last dialogue of the JOB PREFERENCES.

CREATE NEW POSITION When creating new positions you may now only determine Subsystems and Rule Packages. Glazing Beads and Gasket Variants may now be entered during INPUT OF ELEMENTS by the function Position Properties or in System Preferences. Detailed information about that may be found on the following pages.

SYSTEM PREFERENCES The SYSTEM PREFERENCES dialogue was re-designed. All options are now cleary arranged by tab sheets now. You can now select glazing bead variants and gasket variants in the SYSTEM PREFERENCES. Preferences for glass and panel configurations were removed from SYSTEM PREFERENCES. In lieu thereof you may now define up to three different glass and panel configurations each in the JOB PREFERENCES.

POSITION PROPERTIES After GRID INPUT the window Position Properties opens automatically. Alternatively you may select the button Position Properties on the right side. Here it is possible to determine Glazing Bead Variants, Drainages, Drainage Caps, Corner Conncetions, T-Connections and Colours. Therefor the last-named items were deleted from the FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION HOURS dialogue.

PROFILE PROPERTIES It is now also possible to alter T-Connections of window and door positions individually in the profile selection. Click the button Properties in the bottom right corner and proceed into the settings dialogue.

SORTING BY PROFILEDESCRIPTION In the profile selection you are now able to sort the profile list by any of the coloumns.

CONSERVATORY You are now able to create mono-pitch roof conservatorie positions. Please select a conservatory system in INPUT OF ELEMENTS. The window with the settings for conservatories opens automatically. Alternatively, you are able to click the button Conservatory on the right hand side.

Here you can enter all required information for the conservatory. Insertions, rafters, transoms, hardware etc. are entered as usual in INPUT OF ELEMENTS. Conservatory position are displayed in cross section as follows:

ALIGN PROFILES The function Align Profile supports now Glazing Bars too.

CROSS SECTION DISPLAY IN INPUT OF ELEMENTS Move the cursor to any profile and wait for a second. The section will be displayed automatically.

GENERAL CHANGES IN FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION HOURS The following items were moved to Position Properties:

• Drainage • Drainage Caps • Corner Conncetions • T-Connections • Colours

For more information read page 5. The quantity is now only requested when creating a new position. Later on you may alter it in the POSITION SELECTION screen. Read more about this on page 4.

USER DATABASE

GLOBAL SYSTEM PREFERENCES Global system preferences my be set-up under User Database System Preferences.

Select a system to modify the preferences. Highlighted systems already contain entries other then no “preference”.

GLASS-IMPORT In User Database --> Insulating Glass Unit Lists it is possible to import glass lists now. In order to load a file please click the button Import.

SELECT IMPORT FILE Select a file under Import-File. (1) The file formats xls and xlt (Excel) as well as csv are supported. Determine the Type of the file.(2) Here you may choose between two options:

1. Orgadata: You want to apply the Excel template from Orgadata to import glass (available in the customer account on www.orgadata.com). This option excludes the possibility to change the column assignment in the Data Allocation dialogue.

2. Custom: You want to apply your own template to import glass. You may select the entries to be imported yourself by ticking the checkboxes. The following grey entries are mandatory cannot be deactivated:

• Name • Thickness of Inner Pane (mm) • Thickness of Outer Pane (mm) • Minimum Spacer Gap (mm) • Maximum Spacer Gap (mm)

This option includes the possibility to change the column assignment in the Data Allocation dialogue (see next page). This function enables you to alter the column allocation of your own file to match the column configuration of LogiKal.

Apply the overview box (3) to determine which entries shall be imported. Click the button Next in order to proceed to the Data Allocation dialogue:

DATA ALLOCATION All glass panes of the imoprt file are listed here. Richt-click on the column captions in order to alter the data allocation. The program checks automatically if all glass panes can be imported. Red entries won’t be imported. Move the cursor on an entry to obtain an error description.

IMPORT PREVIEW Click Next in order to proceed to the import preview.

This is the place where you can find all glass panes to be imported at a glance. In order to complete the import process click the button Finish.

CNC-DATABASE

NEW TOOL OPTIONS (For Elusoft, Elusoft (Cut), NC-X Camäeleon(Diverse) and NC-X Camäeleon (with optimisation)) In CNC-Database Tools the parameters Instrusion Length and Maximum Depth Interval will be imported automatically from the NCT-File if available. The units for Working Feed and Plunging Feed were changed too. LogiKal uses mm/min now. Older versions of EluCAD- and NCX used m/min. It is now also possible to display metric and imperial dimensions.

By using the button Delete All you can delete the complete tool list by one click. Click on button Display File in order to open the NCT-file by “notepad”.

CNC-MANAGEMENT In order to reduce the data volume you have got three options under Crotation now. Orientation A bis H (old setting without CRotation: creates eight export files* per profile) Only Orientation A und E (old setting with CRotation: creates two export file* per profile) Only Orientation A (new setting: creates one export file* per profile)

DXF EXPORT (For Elusoft, Elusoft (Cut), NC-X Camäeleon and NC-X Camäeleon (with optimisation)) The CNC-Database contains now a separat function for Create DXF-Export.

You may accelerate the DXF-Export by reducing the number of profile to be exported down to the required once. For this apply Only Selected Profiles and Profiles with Clamp Orientation.

INPUT OF ELEMENTS You may now determin in SETTINGS for INPUT OF ELEMENTS if the system preferences dialogue shall be displayed when entering a new position. Click on the tabsheet Input in SETTINGS and activate or deactivate the option Displace system Preferences.
