These last few months have been full of painful goodbyes,

many celebrations (such as engagements, bridal showers, birthdays, babies being born, etc) growth in ministry, and lots of learning and mistakes...but, advances in

many ways too! I can be honest and say this has not been an easy quarter for me, but I know I am where God has called me and that brings contentment and hope. I have officially been living in Australia for over 5 years now and I cannot believe how much has changed...most of all me...

PROSTITUTION OUTREACH

Pray for:~Breakthrough in the brothels we are visiting as well as on the streets...salvation, healing, restoration, favor for entrance into the brothels through the bringing of gifts and/or manicures

~Job opportunities to connect girls with that want out of prostitution

~The closing of brothels in our area

~Wisdom in ministry - we hear a lot of hard stories and it is so important that we process things appropriately and don’t take on things personally that we aren’t meant to carry

~Discernment and wisdom with information we need to give to police

“AT-RISK” OUTREACH

PRAY FOR:

~kids at the detention center we visit weekly. pray for openness and opportunities to build relationship, educate and share the Gospel. Pray for recent riots in the detention center that shut it down for the last month.

~youth in the city we have been reaching out to. Many are involved in the goth scene and are street kids.

~wisdom upon my team as we are ministering to kids involved in self-harm, prostitution, immorality of all kinds, BDSM, witch-craft, worship of demons, and many other dark practices.

~protection over our minds, bodies and spirits as we build relationship with these kids

MEN AND THE SEX INDUSTRY

One of the areas we have been focusing more on lately is the demand side of prostitution and trafficking. We are called as a ministry (Priceless) to bring education and awareness to people in all spheres of society. Currently we are doing surveys in the sex district (where the strip clubs and sex shops are located). Part of our focus is to engage the community in discussions about prostitution and human trafficking and ultimately share who Jesus is, how much He loves them and about His intention for sex. I am amazed at how much the individuals we talk to open their lives and share their brokenness with us. We have had so many opportunities to show God’s heart and speak truth to men and women as we go out. I love seeing people gain an understanding that prostitution is never really a choice and hear them ask questions about God’s thoughts on sex.
