The conference is held bi-annually and is an opportunity for every state school principal to come together for two days of inspira%on and professional development. Presenters included Professor Marcia Langton AM; Dr Jason Fox; Premier, The Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP; Minister for Educa%on, The Honourable Grace Grace; Professor John Ha3e and the founders of OrangeSky Laundry, Nic Marchesi and Lucas Patche. The key message from the conference is that what we have been doing in educa%on throughout Queensland is working. Our state proudly boasts the fastest levels of growth in student outcomes across a significant range of learning areas. The goal now is to con%nue the strong rate of improvement through collabora%ve prac%ce and execu%ng strategies with precision. There is much to celebrate both at Toowoomba East and across state educa%on broadly. I thank our community for their ongoing support and partnership. School Photos School Photos will be taken on Thursday 07 March. Please ensure that your child is at school on %me, in full uniform. Informa%on about the photos has been distributed previously. The school office does not collect any funds for school photos. Parents and carers are required to deal directly with Advanced Life. You will find a %metable in this week’s newsleer.
