Once you get to school the teachers will take care of it from there7th graders get the school to themselves on the first day

TeamsHopefully you know what team you are onif not go to a teacher right away You will be with your team all year, in academics, gym & health, arts classes, and lunchEvery teams has outstanding teachers

LockersYou will be assigned a locker with a combination of 3 numbersYou will have time to practice opening it If you are having trouble, I recommend getting a lock you can practice on at homeOtherwise, in a few weeks you will be a pro

AcademicsYou will have your 5 main subject classes everydayMake sure you have all of your materials that you needALWAYS have enough pencils because those go quick!

ArtsYour arts classes are on A daysYou will have Music & Careers, Computers, Art, Tech, and Family Consumer ScienceThe teachers are magnificent and you will a have a lot of fun!

Gym & HealthFor gym you are required to bring a change of clothes (girls bring tons of hair ties!)You are also given a gym locker with a lock (different combination) Make sure to keep extra clothes in your locker just in caseFor health you need to bring your own binderDont forget deodorant!

ClubsClubs NMS offers include:Yearbook Club, Buddy Club, CRAFT PLAYERS, reading Olympics, L-TAG, SADD, Music and Student CouncilThese are usually all during RA period, you have to be very committed to participate with these activities
