Dear Sir,

Please refer to your above cited letter. The observations and comments on the proposed -Petroleum Terminal by IOT Infrastructure & energy services Ltd. are given below.

1) The letter from lY/s lor representing that as per the 34 Notification, the toll plazaAdministration block / other facilities are coming on the land bearing Survey No.126/I and 726/2 and these buildings / blocks affect the security, safety andoperation of the proposed petroleum terminal adjacent to the permanent IntegratedToll plaza location.

2) The letter also states that terminal facilities are being finalysed leaving 75mts fromthe center of highways as per the norms.

3) The center line of 16 lane permanent Integrated toll plaza is located at Km 35+600and Administrative block / facilities are located on the RHS of highway and these areplanned as per the guide lines of IRC-SP-84 and relevant provisions for the operationof toll plaza

4) The distance between the center line of the highway to the boundary of the Iand forthe Administrative block is 97.50 mts as per the toll plaza plan. Hence an area of100x22.50 (97.50-75) i.e. 2250 sqm area is beyond the control line of 75 mts.

5) The boundary walls for the safety / security of the toll plaza administratjve block arealso planned as the cash handling facility is housed in this block. The Administrativeblock buildings / other facilities are planned within this area with necessary setbacks.

6) The detailed plan of Petroleum Terminal and obligatory safe distance are requiredfor assessing the actual distance from the terminal to the Administrative blocks /fa c i lities.

7) The land acquisition process for construction of permanent integrated toll plaza atthis location is already under progress, 34 Notification has been published and IMR isu nder progress also.

B) The land bearing the Survey No. 125 and 126 etc cover the jand required for theconstruction of toll lanes (PQc area) and Administration block as brought out in theletter.

9) There is a proposal for container handling facility by M/s ICD near / adjacent to thetoll plaza location on Hyderabad side. The details of the location are ihown in thesketch attached. The approach,/ access road to this container handling facility hasbeen proposed at about Km 35+850 on Survey No. 100.

10)The approach road to the existing petroleum terminal / depot of M/s BpCL (Km35+100) joins the highway at km 35+280 on Nagpur side.

11)The underground tunnel is provided to access the toll booths from the Administrativeblock for safety and secured cash handling facility. Shifting of toll plaza would affectthese existing and proposed accesses and approaches.
