A member of NHS himself, Kane shared how hard he worked to achieve his goals and told the stu-dents they were in excellent company with accomplished NHS members

Principal Dr. Sean C. Feeney presented the concluding remarks, stating how proud he was of each and every student.

Throughout the evening, the consistent message acknowledged the significant accomplishment, but stressed that this was just the beginning. Students shouldn’t strive for the minimum community-service requirement to remain an NHS member in good standing, they should help others because they will be enriched, too. And, while they’re striving to do their best, it’s OK to fail. Students should experience lots of things. If they just aim to be perfect, they’ll miss plenty of opportunities to experience life and find their path in the world.
