Nichols offers two undergraduate
bachelor’s degree programs to put you on
the road to success. Students can pursue a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
or a Bachelor of Arts in numerous specializa-

high demand is our unique four-year Profes-
sional Development seminar (PDS) program.
These seminars are designed to guide you
through your academic career, help you build
a portfolio of your work, and teach you the core
skills to help you transition into the professional
world. This program is designed to give you
a distinct advantage over other college gradu-
ates throughout your career. Here’s what is
included in the PDS program:
YEAr 1: Learn time management, sound study skills,
effective goal setting, and relationship building.
YEAr 2: Explore possible career paths, review your
internship choices, and learn interview
techniques.
YEAr 3: Focus on portfolio building, attend career
fairs, refine presentation skills, and consider
postgraduate options. Sections on resume
building and mock interviews will help you
get a valuable internship.
YEAr 4: Learn how to market yourself in the
corporate world, impress recruiters, and
secure professional employment.

The faculty and staff at Nichols are current
and former industry leaders. Our faculty is

programs that will help you make the most out
of your educational career. Nichols offers a
variety of different options that will help you

Get Your Degree in three! We offer a
BSBA program that allows students to obtain
their degree in only three years. Through an
expanded schedule and additional online
coursework, students can save an entire year
of time and tuition.
Our 4+1 MBA program provides a program
of study that will allow students to accelerate
their education program and complete their
graduate degree in only one additional year.
It is a great way to boost earning potential and
make you more marketable upon graduation.
The Nichols Honors scholar program is
designed to challenge academically gifted
students and enhance the overall academic
experience. Students within the program are
allowed to select honors courses from all
disciplines and work directly with faculty on a
variety of different projects. Honors students
also have access to a variety of special events
that will help engage them within our learning
community.

Globalization
At Nichols you will have the opportunity
to study locally and globally. Through a variety
of study abroad programs, students have the
opportunity to gain new perspective on the
global marketplace.
European university: Nichols students can complete
a semester or a full year at one of EU’s four
participating locations including Barcelona,
Geneva, Munich, and Singapore. Students who
elect to spend a full year abroad are eligible to
participate in our dual degree option where they
can receive a BSBA from Nichols and a BBA
from EU.
regent’s College: Nichols students have the opportunity
to spend a semester in the heart of London,
England. All Regent’s College coursework is
transferable toward your Nichols College degree.
semester at sea: Students spend a semester aboard an
ocean liner completing their coursework while
visiting up to fifteen international ports.
Washington Center internship: Our students are eligible to
participate in this nationally recognized internship
program. Students will spend a semester in our
nation’s capital interning for one of the Center’s
many partner organizations.
Annual spring trip: Each year Nichols College sponsors
one or more trips abroad. Students have the
chance to see local culture and industry up close.
Previous locations have included Greece, Italy,
Ireland, China, South Africa, and Brazil.

The Nichols College Athletics Program
provides our athletes the opportunity to
compete in fifteen varsity sports at
the NCAA Division III level.
As a Nichols College student-
athlete, you will have the oppor-
tunity to be part of a program that is
committed to excellence both on and off the
courts, ice, and fields. In 2010-2011, eleven
of our fifteen programs reached post-season
play, and over 120 of our student-athletes
maintained a GPA of 3.0 or above, truly a
winning combination!

can now choose to waive their sAt scores when
applying to Nichols.
Early Action Application
Apply to Nichols before December 1st, and receive
your acceptance before january 1st! Plus, students
admitted through early action will receive an addi-
tional $1,000 Early Acceptance Grant.
Note: students who are not admitted through Early Action
will be deferred into our traditional application pool.
