NIGERIALNG Towage Services - Bonny Island, Rivers StateGeneral informationNigeria LNG Ltd (NLNG) operates a 6-train LNG Terminal in Nigeria.
The Terminal is called upon by LNG, LPG and condensate tankers.
In collaboration with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), NLNG has, in order to ensure the export of LNG, invested in the improved accessibility of the Bonny River.
The size of typical vessels calling at the Terminalare:L.O.A.: 315.00 mB.O.A: 50.00 mLoaded Draft: 12.20 m
In order for the vessel calls to be safe, NLNG has contracted CTOW to provide Towage Services at the Terminal.
Project DescriptionCTOW is constructing two brand new tugs and one pilot launch for the operation of a High Standard Towage and Pilotage Service at the LNG Terminal.
CTOW will provide the Operational Standards and Emergency Plans, as well as audit the earlier mentioned Plans and Standards.
The vessels will be operated by CTOW’s Nigerian subsidiary CMTON Ltd.
CMTON will operate the vessels with a 100% Nigerian crew under a 10 year Contract.

NIGERIAHarbour Towage Services - Onne Port, Rivers StateGeneral informationThe Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has the Statutory Right to provide all Towage Services in Nigeria.
NPA has, in order to increase the traffic at Onne Port, improved the accessibility of the Bonny River, through dredging works and improvements to the Aids to Navigation.
The size of vessels calling at the port therefore has increased significantly and the need for high standard towage services has surfaced
In order for the vessel calls to be safe, the Vessel Owners have requested NPA to provide Towage Services.
NPA has contracted its Joint Venture “Bonny Channel Company Ltd” to provide the services with CTOW nv, until a permanent solution is set up.
Project DescriptionCTOW has assisted “Bonny Channel Company Ltd” (BCC). with the operation of a High Standard Towage Service in Onne.
CTOW has provided vessels to BCC for the operations and has provided the necessary back up for the provision of Operational Standards and Emergency Plans, as well as auditing the afore mentioned Plans and Standards.
CTOW has provided three vessels over a period of over two years for the execution of the towage services.
