All you need is your USB on-the-go (OTG) enabled android phone, a USB OTG cable and a spare Contour Next Link 2.4 blood glucose meter, what could be simpler?! Maybe your a total techie and you've dived in with confidence, perhaps you feel like digital dummie and it all sounds like sci-fi. Either way, you're stuck, it's not working, what do you do? Well here are a few pointers... 1) The new app is available under a tentative beta programme (https://github.com/pazaan/640gAndroidUploader/wiki/Beta-test-programme), so if you're trying this, you're testing it. That means it might not be perfect, and it means that you are responsible for what happens. Don't expect the gloss of finished products and customer support you get from Medtronic (but don't expect their product development timescales either!) 2) Ask yourself "Is this problem with the app or my Nighscout site?". You might not know, but if it seems like Nightscout, go and get help from the huge community of gurus at CGM in the Cloud (https://www.facebook.com/groups/cgminthecloud/), it'll be way faster and probably better support than you get here or from the small core support team for the app. Of course, there's lots of info on the Nightscout site (http://www.nightscout.info/) If it is an app problem, post in this community (please don't instantly direct message anyone!), and remember to help each other, what fixed it for you will probably be the fix for someone else..!! 3) If you've found a problem that's genuinely an issue with the app, log it here https://github.com/pazaan/640gAndroidUploader/issues/new.
