Barry is a digital board member, CEO advisor and angel investor. He is also
a senior fellow at Wharton’s SEI Center.
Barry has spent the last decade: advising boards and leaders about how to
build digital networks and platforms to drive value, growth and profits;
assisting CEO’s pivot their business models; and investing in social, mobile,
cloud, and big data startups. His portfolio companies have built networks and
platforms for many leading brands including Goldman Sachs, Major League
Baseball, AAA, and ESPN. Barry also sits a number of for profit and
not-for-profit boards. Barry has co-authored 6 books. His newest is called The
Network Imperative: How to Survive and Grow in the Age of Digital Business
Models. Barry began his career with McKinsey & Company, is a graduate of
Tufts University (Magna Cum Laude), and holds an MBA from Columbia
University (Beta Gamma Sigma). He resides in Dover, Massachusetts with his
wife and has two grown sons he adores.

Sarah Leonard works for GlaxoSmithKline as the VP of Global Learning &
Development & Organization Development for GSK. In this capacity, she is
responsible for determining overall people and organizational learning &
development strategies for GSK.
Her deep expertise is in leadership development, strategic capability building,
employee engagement, and organization development interventions in order
to meet complex business challenges. Sarah works with C-Suite executives and
senior HR business partners on the Global Learning & Development agenda to
ensure that this strategic enabler and engagement lever is fully leveraged for
GSK’s growth agenda. Sarah joined GSK 22 years ago and held roles of
increasing responsibility within the Organization Development function across
all of its business divisions including Corporate Groups, commercial businesses
for both Consumer and Pharmaceuticals (Europe, EMAP, Latina, MEA etc.), as
well as the Pharma R&D business and GSK Vaccines. Sarah graduated from
Leeds University in Modern Languages and Business Studies and her early
career roles were across marketing, sales and finance.

Anant Agarwal is the CEO of edX, an online learning destination founded by
Harvard and MIT. Anant taught the first edX course on circuits and electronics
from MIT, which drew 155,000 students from 162 countries. He has served
as the director of CSAIL, MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
Laboratory, and is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science
at MIT.
He is a successful serial entrepreneur, having co-founded several companies
including Tilera Corporation, which created the Tile multicore processor, and
Virtual Machine Works. Anant won the Maurice Wilkes prize for computer
architecture, and MIT's Smullin and Jamieson prizes for teaching. He is also
the 2016 recipient of the Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize for Higher Education,
which recognized his work in advancing the MOOC movement. He holds a
Guinness World Record for the largest microphone array, and is an author of
the textbook "Foundations of Analog and Digital Electronic Circuits."

Jorrit van der Togt is Executive Vice President HR Strategy and Learning & OE
at Shell, based in the Company’s Headquarters in The Hague, The
Netherlands. Jorrit holds a Bachelors in Business from Nyenrode University, a
Masters in Psychology as well as in Information Technology from Utrecht
University, and a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Groningen.
He joined Shell in 1994 as Employee and Industrial Adviser in The
Netherlands, following an internship in South Korea. He became learning
consultant in 1998, HR IT manager in the UK in 2001, and HR manager for
global Downstream Distribution in Houston in 2005. In 2009, he became
Vice President Technical Learning – overseeing the set up and rapid growth of
Shell’s global technical professional learning organization to accelerate
technical professional development and local capability building. In 2012,
Jorrit was appointed Executive Vice President HR Strategy & Internal
Communications. He is responsible for Shell’s people strategy, global internal
communications, HR analytics, HR continuous improvement, the HR integrated
operations model, HR support for mergers and acquisitions, and provides
oversight to Shell’s employee engagement and industrial relations. From
November 2015 onwards Jorrit has been appointed to combine this role with
the Executive Vice President role for Learning & Organization Effectiveness.

David Vance

David Vance is the executive director of the Center for Talent Reporting which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the creation and implementation of standards for human capital measurement, reporting, and management. He is the former President of Caterpillar University, which he founded in 2001. Dave was named 2006 Chief Learning Officer (CLO) of the Year by Chief Learning Officer magazine.
Dave is a frequent speaker at learning conferences and association meetings. He conducts workshops on managing the learning function, and teaches in the human capital Ph.D. programs at Bellevue University and the University of Southern Mississippi. His current research focus is on the development of Talent Development Reporting Principles for L&D in particular and human capital in general. He also is a trustee and lead independent director for State Farm Mutual Funds, and an advisory board member for Capital Analytics, Inc. and Knowledge Advisors. His first book, The Business of Learning: How to Manage Corporate Training to Improve Your Bottom Line, was published in October 2010.

Dr. Pollock has extensive experience in education, line management, and strategy development. He is a popular speaker and consultant with a long‐standing interest in education and leadership development. He has a passion for helping individuals and organizations excel.
Prior to founding The 6Ds Company, Roy served as Chief Learning Officer for the Fort Hill Company, as Assistant Dean for Curriculum Development, Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine; Vice President, Global Strategic Product Development for SmithKline Beecham Animal Health; Vice President, Companion Animal Division for Pfizer; President, IDEXX Informatics; and President, VetConnect Systems, Inc. Doug Harward is the founder and CEO of Training Industry, Inc. He is internationally recognized as one of the leading strategists for training and outsourcing business models. He is respected as one of the industry's leading authorities on competitive analysis for training services and works with international companies and new business start-ups in building training organizations.
Harward previously served as the Director of Global Learning for Nortel Networks where he led the industry's largest global training outsourcing engagement with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He received the Chairman's Global Award for Community Service for his work in developing integrated learning organization strategies within higher education, public schools and business. He has worked in the training industry for more than 25 years.
Harward received a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BSBA in Marketing from Appalachian State University.Harward is co-author of the book “What Makes a Great Training Organization.”
