Trivandrum International Airport

Represented byNIMMI REJI MATHEW

IntroductionAirport is a place where aero planes and aircrafts

take off and land passengers and cargo.

Airports are busy, exciting places overhead planes approach the airport on their assigned routes called traffic patterns.

Airports resemble small cities. Many have hotels, banks, post-offices and shopping malls.

Runways must be long enough and wide enough to handle the largest planes.

The management staffs at airports are divided into several departments, such as administration, finance, operations etc..

An airport must operate like a business. Airports rent space to the airlines for offices, ticket counters and baggage areas

In addition the air-port receives income form parking , advertising and telephones in the terminal, landing fees paid by the airlines and in some airports, a passenger tax.
