Problems:

On-line patterns submission

Decrease of GiA funding (need explanations).

Next GiA – Novosibirsk, Fall 2005

Other activities:

- Lectures about ICDD products – October 2004, Moscow at the meeting of the Analytical Society of RAS,

- Meetings with grantees from St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow

- Meetings with representatives of “Burevestnik” and “SinTheta” Ltd.

Plans for 2005/20061) Advertising ICDD products at different meetings and conferences in NIS: in Lviv (September 2005), Novosibirsk (October 2005) etc.

2) Develop effective marketing ICDD products in Russia. Agreement between ICDD-”SinusTheta” and “Burevestnik”.

2) Recommend active powder diffractionists for the ICDD membership.

3) Facilitate Grant-in-Aid proposals from Russian scientific institutes.

4) Train diffractionists from various institutes.

5) 3rd XRD clinic in Russia at MSU (July 2005 for industrial companies).

6) GiA workshop in Novosibirsk/Krasnoyarsk in Fall 2005.
