Refreshments will be available on the evening. You are of course able to talk to Teachers and Teaching Assistants about specific issues that arise as and when needed during term-time. Harvest Festival Thank you to all our Children and Parents who sent in coins for our Harvest Day. We raised an amazing £179.20 which will be split between our two nominated charities.

Primary Admissions and Year 6 Transfer Forms
Just a reminder that these should be returned as soon as possible to school so that we can return them to the Local Authority. You can also apply online at www.coventry.gov.uk/admisssions. The closing date for Secondary places is 31st October 2009 and for Primary places 15th January 2010.

Wraparound – Teacher Day, Friday 23rd October
We are currently taking bookings and still have availability for Abbey Oaks on Teacher Day. The cost is £24 (8am-6pm) OR £12 (8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm). If you wish to book your child/children for a half or full day session please contact Mrs McGrath in the office.
Attendance
Unfortunately the attendance in school appears to be dropping considerably, we are aware that there are several viruses and sickness bugs going around at the moment, but if your children are well enough please send them to school. Holidays in term time and sickness combine to take attendance look poor. Our target is 95% and at the moment we are only achieving 89.5%. Thank you.
