Information) in South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on Deputation basis Sir/Madam, I am directed to refer to South Delhi Municipal Corporation circular No Dir(P)/SDMCjHCj2016/2135 dated 24.02.2016 (copy enclosed) and 13.4.2016 regarding seeking applications from the eligible officers for filling up the 01 post of Deputy Director (Press & Information) and 02 posts of Assistant Directors (Press & Information) in SDMC and to say that last date for receipt of applications for the posts has been extended upto 13.7.2016. It is therefore, requested that the names of suitable and willing officers fulfilling the conditions, alongwith (i) their applications and bio-data with certification that the entries in the application have been verified from the records and found correct. (ii) ACRs/APARs for the preceding 05 years (iii) Integrity certificate. (iv) Vigilance clearance including certification that no disciplinary proceedings or criminal proceedings are either pending or contemplated against the officer concerned. (v) Cadre clearance and (vi) List of major/minor penalties, if any, imposed on the officer during the last ten years/No penalty certificate, may please be forwarded to the Director (Personnel), South Delhi Municipal Corporation, 22 nd Floor, Dr. S.P. Mukherjee, Civic Centre, J.L. Sir/Madam,

Applications are invited for filling up one post of Deputy Director (Press &Information) in Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100/-) + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- and 02posts of Assistant Director (Press & Information) in PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) + GradePay Rs 4600/- on deputation basis in South Delhi Municipal Corporation from eligibleand willing officers. As per recruitment regulations applicable to the post, officersholding/analogous posts in Central/State Govts.jUnion Territories/Universities/PublicSector Undertaking/Autonomous Organisations are eligible.

Eligibility conditions and qualifications for the posts are as under:

Deputy Director (Press & Information) No of Post - 01

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parentcadre/department.

OR(ii) With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointmentthereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600-39100/-) +Grade pay Rs. 5400/- or equivalent, in parent cadre/department.

(iii) With 8 years service in the grade rendered after appointmentthereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-2 (Rs. 15600-39100/-) +Grade pay Rs. 4600( or equivalent, in parent cadre/department.

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with English andHindi/Urdu as a subject.

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parentcadre/department.

OR

(ii) With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointmentthereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800/-) +Grade pay Rs. 4200/- or equivalent, in parent cadre/department.

OR

(iii) With 8 years service in the grade rendered after appointmentthereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-l (Rs. 5200-20200/-) +Grade pay Rs. 2800/- or equivalent, in parent cadre/department.

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:-

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with English andHindi/Urdu as a subject.

(ii) Degree/P.G. Diploma in Journalism from a recognized universityor Institution or equivalent.

(iii) 02 years experience of Journalistic/Publicity Work under a Govt.department or in a Newspaper/News Agency or Publicity Organization.

2. Since, the SDMC follows the Rules/Regulations/Instructions of the Govt. ofIndia, the laid down terms and conditions of deputation of the Govt. of India shallbe applicable mutatis mutandis to the officers on deputation basis in SDMC.Further, the maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not beexceeding 56 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application.

3. It is therefore, requested that the names of suitable and willing officersfulfilling the above conditions, alongwith (i) their applications and bio-data withcertification that the entries in the application have been verified from the recordsand found correct. (ii) ACRs/APARs for the preceding 05 years (iii) Integritycertificate. (iv) Vigilance clearance including certification that no disciplinaryproceedings or criminal proceedings are either pending or contemplated against theofficer concerned ..
