• Dancing replaced fighting on the streets (most of the time)

• Wild Style was the first movie, in 1982 featuring Grandmaster Flash, DST and others

• Beat Street soon followed, with NYC Breakers & Bambaataa then many more.

• LL Cool J was 16 years old when he released his ‘Radio’ album.

• Run is now a preacher

• Jam-Master Jay was murdered.
