Ephesians 6:10-1110 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles

being in us.Satan’s power is a lie!

Ephesians 6:1212 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of

this age,* against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the

heavenly places.

Whatever challenge we have, people are not the problem. They are just being used.

2 Corinthians 10:3-53 For though we walk in the

flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our

warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the

knowledge of God, bringing every thought into

captivity to the obedience of Christ

Daniel 10:1313 But the prince of the

kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and

behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left

alone there with the kings of Persia.

Ephesians 6:1313 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that

you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to

stand.

The key thing about this is that IT IS GOD’S armor, not ours. God has designed & tested it; and it works when it is all there, not

in parts.

Isaiah 59:1717 For He put on

righteousness as a breastplate,

And a helmet of salvation on His head;

He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing,

And was clad with zeal as a cloak.

Ephesians 6:1414 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with

truth,

Truth is the first piece in the armor. Truth is the

belt that holds everything together. Jesus Himself is Truth. Only the truth that you know and exercise sets

you free.

Ephesians 6:14having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Righteousness is the chain of mail or body armor that

we wear. Only God’s righteousness works in this case. No works of our own

come close.

Romans 10:3-43 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not

submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Ephesians 6:1515 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

The Good news is that war and enmity between God and man has ended. We must wear these studded shoes and go into all the world, not

chill at home!

Ephesians 6:1616 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the

wicked one.

Faith, God’s faith and not our own, is the shield we use to resist the enemy’s attacks. But for it to work, you must work it!

James 2:19-2019 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe — and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without

works is dead?*

Ephesians 6:1717 And take the helmet of

salvation,

The helmet protects the head, the brains. We must guard our thoughts and have them renewed by focusing on what Christ has done for us, which is eternal.

Ephesians 6:17and the sword of the

Spirit, which is the word of God;

The spoken word of God (Rhema) is the only attack weapon in the armor. The

of the Spirit.

to this end with all perseverance and
