Sparks in such areas could cause anexplosion or fire resulting in bodily injury ordeath. Observe restrictions in fuel servicestations, storage, and distribution areas;chemical plants; or where blastingoperations are in progress. Areas with apotentially explosive atmosphere are often, but not always, clearly marked. They includeareas where you would be advised to switchyour vehicle engine off, below deck on boats, chemical transfer or storage facilities, and

where the air contains chemicals or particlessuch as grain, dust, or metal powders. Youshould check with the manufacturers ofvehicles using liquefied petroleum gas (suchas propane or butane) to determine if thisdevice can be safely used in their vicinity.

Certification information (SAR)This mobile device meets guidelines forexposure to radio waves.

Your mobile device is a radio transmitter andreceiver. It is designed not to exceed thelimits for exposure to radio wavesrecommended by international guidelines. These guidelines were developed by theindependent scientific organisation ICNIRPand include safety margins designed toassure the protection of all persons, regardless of age and health.

The exposure guidelines for mobile devicesemploy a unit of measurement known as theSpecific Absorption Rate or SAR. The SARlimit stated in the ICNIRP guidelines is 2.0watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over 10grams of tissue. Tests for SAR are conductedusing standard operating positions with thedevice transmitting at its highest certifiedpower level in all tested frequency bands. The actual SAR level of an operating devicecan be below the maximum value becausethe device is designed to use only the powerrequired to reach the network. That amountchanges depending on a number of factorssuch as how close you are to a network basestation.

The highest SAR value under the ICNIRPguidelines for use of the device at the ear is1.30 W/kg.

Use of device accessories may result indifferent SAR values. SAR values may varydepending on national reporting and testingrequirements and the network band.Additional SAR information may be providedunder product information atwww.nokia.com.
