Get started
Insert a (U)SIM card and batteryThis device uses BP-5M batteries.
1. To open the back cover of the device, with the back of
the device facing you slide the cover toward thebottom of the device (1), and remove it (2). To removethe battery, lift it from the end (3).
2. Slide the (U)SIM card in the SIM card holder (4).
Make sure that the gold-coloured contact area on the
card is facing downward on the device, and thebevelled corner faces toward the card holder slot.
3. Replace the battery (5). Replace the back cover (6).

When you open Maps, the capital city of the country youare in or the location that was saved from your last sessionis shown. The map of the location is also downloaded, if
needed.To establish a GPS connection and zoom in to your lastknown location, press 0, or select Options > My position.
A GPS indicator on the bottom right of thedisplay shows the availability and strength of the satellitesignal. One bar indicates one satellite. When the devicereceives enough data from the satellite to establish a GPSconnection, the bar turns green. Your device has two cameras to capture still images andrecord videos. A high resolution main camera is on theback of the device using landscape mode, and a lowerresolution secondary camera is on the front of the deviceusing portrait mode.
Your device supports an image capture resolution of2592x1944 pixels using the main camera. The imageresolution in this guide may appear different.
